bro there is a reason why he says this is luck. he is using heuristics to calculate probability... not everyone is very intuitive when it comes to higher order probabilities.. i mean if anything, the dice game gives u more control and space, if u actually have the skill. its more poker than the other revamped "poker" game. (in terms of reading and guessing). in fact, this gives u lots of room to control, since u get to call out others and even re-bid a new value... if anything, the dice game has a much higher skill ceiling if ur into crazy math and psychology warfare. the card game is more heavily from speech and lies and psychology warfare, much lesser control. but well. i could be wrong, i mean im not a multi-millionaire. people only listens to the rich, its just how the world works. tho i wonder why so many actual intellects or modern intellects aint actually wealthy (unless they are already born into already wealthy family; trust fund/ nepo babies).

and just to add, not trying to mean by my last paragraph. X is still pretty smart, at least from my opinion and views etc. at least compared to the average people. and also especially when he isnt very well verse in many of such topics (i mean he prob didnt studied crazy hard, or if he did, prob not the right environment and aptitude; people can be good in various things). I believe he does possess the "quiet eye" per se, something i read and learnt about in cognitive psychology in university time so years ago even before the covid period (the research is more in depth now with multiple different replications in many other fields; think the researches used to be from basketball and baseball, or at least it started out from there.) i kinda noticed he reacts really fast in his video games, even non shooter kind. like i guess especially the horror genre. i do have pretty good reaction time, but i wouldnt be that good at execution as he is, and able to look at small important minute details within microseconds... in theory i could prob practise, but i think even with the most optimal conditions, its skill capped for me. but well yea, i think he is pretty good at the card game itself. and that game clearly suits him much more than this. and if anything, i feel he really really shouldnt touch on professional poker, unless he somehow have really good intuitions that can overcompensate from such lack of intuitive probabilities, since that game is not just mental, it does have loads of room for math, which many average folks wouldnt really notice. i mean a pro can literally wiped the floor of the blackjack floors, poker is on another whole different dimension.

Probability of getting 3 fives out of 20 dice is ~23.8%. Given x's hand, probability of 1 five out of 15 dice is ~19.5%. Edit: probability of losing given x's bet is ~53.2% which is the chance that he gets less than 3 fives out of 15 dice.

I assume that you mean 3 more fives out of 20, for 5 total. I think the expected number of rolls for each number is 20/6 = 3.33, so 3 rolls shouldn’t be strange. (Just realized, probability of specifically 3 rolls would still be a low percentage) If you add probability of 0 fives out of 15, xqcs chance to lose was a bit higher
