I know people give Aiden a lot of crap, I 100% get it-- but it was kinda cool seeing how much he knew about the maps, (such as the raygun from olympia or how you can pin down the mysterbox by having Leroy slam it.) Everyone was just being themselves, Adins not a good fit because he takes himself more seriously. You could blame Adin for not melding into the dynamic better (and definitely for chucking a hissy at the end), but neither he nor X and crew are going to change who they are fundamentally, so it's just a bad mesh.
