He overdrives the shit out of the car every time, and his brake and throttle inputs are always stabs. No smooth in or out which is part of the reason he's always going to fast into the corners, and why on longer sweeping turns he almost spins because he's just jabbing the throttle like it's an on/off switch.

idk man. for someone who doesn't drive in real life and had no experience in any sim prior to this Iracing arc I would say he is doing well above average, you would be surprised how long it takes some people to even be at X's level now. being good at sims is all about time on the wheel, you can be talented but unless you have the hours down you will be shit.

@@DabDabGoose That's what I mean, he has those moments, but then just does the most unintuitive shit the next second. Like takes the Corkscrew perfectly(which is really hard even for experienced drivers/simmers) but then procedes to just downshift on the next corner and sbin.

needs to limit steering movement as much as possible on corners for oval, it's all about keeping the momentum in turns, if so go wider to get a faster exit, if you look at the faster drivers replay you can see there throttle and brake differences.

Dude I’ve always been into sim racing and it’s fun as hell. Especially if you have a wheel and pedals and stuff. There’s plenty games out there that are solid and fun to play. It’s realistic too if you have a nice wheel and what not. Even Max Vertsappen is a hardcore sim racer.

No. :D Someone said he hasnt calibrated his setup at all so that would mean his brakes are very sensitive and thus he cant/doesnt know how to brake properly, uses engine brake instead which does work but its not as effective i dont think... last time i did oval a long time ago i never engine braked.
