I am NOT defending the security officer. Probably 100 things Logan did wrong. That being said, Freddy could probably have avoided this tragic incident by trying to clear the situation up and or not visiting again. I am NOT defending the security officer. Also the woman who was handling the trash also could have made an effort to clear it up between the different parties. I am NOT defending the security officer.

Unfortunately, he ran into a much stupider asshole than he was, and that idiot had a gun and has obviously been waiting his whole life to end someone else's. I can't blame Freddy at all, I know a dozen plus men that would act the same way towards some wannabe mall cop because logically, that guy's not going to shoot you unless he's monumentally stupid.

All this over trash…. the corner store company and security is stupid. I don’t even know if a leasing company can say “hey this person can’t pick up YOUR TRASH” it’s nonsense. Lowe’s owes the trash and they have every right to ask someone to pick it up. The idea of somehow the person you leasing from controlling the garbage is ridiculous.

These "mall cops" are over stepping their boundaries. The overall property manager can hire security guards to watch the property, but the lease holder also has rights. A security guard has an obligation to check with the lease holder and verify who there vendors are. If Lowes says he is a vendor, and is there to pick up pallets. Then if he isn't doing anything wrong outside of his stated business then they should be leaving him alone
@ogjesus92603 ай бұрын
As a security guard myself, this definitely didn’t have to end in bloodshed. Our job is to observe and report. On the other hand tho he shouldn’t have moved the vehicle forward, that vehicle is a deadly weapon. It could still have been resolved differently without this kind of force.

This should be used as a training video to vet out any and all security jobs. Anyone that thinks lethal force at any point made sense here needs to be blacklisted from the industry.
