Also xqc was onto something believe it or not with psychological reason behind the whole apple thing. The chickens are actually becoming smart enough in this scenario to bait more grain by sort of begging for it. Once they can store up grain they basically horde it and eat the apple or whatever is around since now they have a bunch of their favorite food.

Don’t worry y‘all, these are fully grown ducks and they are no longer ducklings, ducks of this size to not overeat, I’ve been working on a farm for a few years and the family who owns it also owns ducks, I researched more into what they said and they are right. The treats given by the machine also serve a very low amount of calories, it expands when exposed to water due to it becoming soggy so it looks like a decent amount of food, but they are little treats that these ducks can eat a lot of before becoming obese. As for chickens, they also do not overeat, they are super impressive when it comes to not overeating in fact, I’ve witnessed first hand how good they are at it.
