Yeah, it's pretty dumb that he said that but it's fair since the officer was going to kill both of them either way, and the wife wasn't even responsible for the murder, the officer just lied to the husband so he had lower chances to die. Imagine a cop walks into your home when your wife is about to have a baby and he binds and kills both of you regardless of what you do, when you're both innocent. The officer should beg for forgiveness himself AFTER being tortured, and still be killed.

What I believe is that the protaginist is crazy in love with her half sister (for some unknown reason) and the scene with the father is us admiting that we are in love. The father is actually a psychologist (hence to the big empty room with only a chair and alot of books) that is trying to help us forgot about our desire for our half sister. (which is a complety valid reason to see a psychologist). So after seeing he can't convice us he takes a different approach which is hypnosism to forget. And then I think that what we get to play in the apparment is him trying to fight the hypnosis in his mind so he makes a senario in his head where him and his half sister are happily married with a soon to be born baby and that the cop that comes is the psychologist/father trying to stop our desire. and in the end of the game in the scene where we talk to the father in the big room is us snapping back to reality it shows that we let the to the hypnotism win, that we were are conviced that yes we indead are a monster

Ending for people who didn't understand. The whole life with him marrying his sister, is fake. His father discovered that he loved his sister and wanted to prevent it (since its incest), in order to prevent this he hypnotised his son in the scenario that he married his sister, to prove that it would end bad. Every time the father and him are in the hypnosis room the father says "Hey there he is, your back 4:18:44 showing that he's been repeatedly hypnotising him until he understands. He goes on to explain how he can help him forget (his feelings for her) and the game ends once you decide to let him hypnotise you. sorry for bed england

I can't knock out a man, that I know, or can know, every step he will take (ow, he is too strong and I am a 5-year-old). I can't explain skillfully to my wife without making her leave the conversation mad. No possibility for complex action or speech. It is like controlling a low-grade robot from 2120, in this respect. The concrete story doesn't make sense. How can one forget something like that by hypnosis and how is the time magic happening?... The ideal game I hoped would conform to the imagination of the player and allow freedom for the player to explore the ample possibilities. The things that were in my mind while playing at some points, articulated more: -This 'police' guy probably knows that the watch gives such powers to people. He is pretending to not know. -The watch gives this power. -I should be able to stop this cop knowing he is coming. I don't need no light switch, I can use those 10 minutes of replay to learn kung fu if it is needed to be able to beat this man, even without a knife (I didn't think of that on those terms then, of course). - Why can't I convince the lady to leave the apartment, has he no imagination? Send her a message on her phone, saying anything, 'I am at the hospital, visit me- cof-cof'. Or say: 'I have a surprise for you, take these clothes, go HERE, you will see'. Or even, 'hide in the closet, you will see, trust trust', etc. -I was expecting some cost to relive those minutes. -I was looking for a solution to break the cycle or control the power. -Every time the conversation repeats, the 'police' man always dismisses discussion the same way if I don't have some 'information', or even if I have it. -This man can't convince anyone, not even with infinite tries. He can only repeat his failure without trying to vary. This man is weak, slow, and dumb and I am possessing him, possessing the most boring lobes.
