Wanted to cry when i seen that sled crashed... I THINK I WOULD BE SENDING POLARIS THE BILL ON THAT ONE.... to many people having the same problem... time to force them to fix and pay for the defects in their sleds (p.t.o. side bearings, bad clutch bolts... and now throttle...)... all i can say is "wow". For 25-30+grand i would be p!ssed!!!!!

Thats my kind of riding, slalom thru the trees with the occasional log jump, side by side can get competitive.

So they put a new throttle block on to address the icing issue there if I remember right and now put on throttle cables that seize up... that's just great polaris

ist there a throttle safety switch for a frozen throttle? Use to have magnets in carb slides that would cut ignition when throttle froze?

when tree riding quickly in tight areas often the damage will get done before the tether has a chance to stop the sleds momentum.

I’ve been seeing too many videos of these throttles sticking. It scares me a little bit. I hope the damage isn’t horrible. Thank goodness for that 9R with the updated throttle cable. 🙏🏼 glad you’re OK!

Such a bummer man, wonder if the new throttle cable assembly is compatible with older models? It looked like that sled was ripping good not as responsive as the 9R but it'll do! that Bmp bumper was the best investment ever !! Can't wait to see the repair and have it back on the mtn !

That happened to me once, I was playing around in the deep powder on a lake and on the way home it was stuck wide open. I was lucky I had enough room to kill the engine. Wearing a tether on a sled or ATV is a good idea.

Dude, that thing was MOBBING. That's shiet luck on the polaris throttle . Glad you're okay, that could of been MESSY

DAMN! Sucks about your sled, but that could have ended with serious injuries or death to you, or your riding buddies. Polaris needs to get their QC fixed like yesterday.

Sounds like another recall needed! 😢

Insane that companies can knowingly release product to the consumers knowing that there are serious issues. Be brand loyal all you want….Polaris is BY FAR the worst for these. People keep buying them up though!
