How about a gun review of something a normal person can afford now? Build your own budget gun would be a great video and review it when done building it. Main goal is affordable then accurate. Yes affordable to the average shooter comes first. I will be generous and say under $2,800 scope included. I know the scope you will put on it. Because you just did a review of it and I own one. Enjoy hot Texas and kill all the little piggy's you can. They have taken over that state. Shoot the little ones they taste better and are harder to hit.

Oh cool. Another verion of another doppler chrono that won't work for me 🫤 fyi, they can't handle much recoil. I shot the cone thing out of my pos unit, and the floorplates on my aics mags also started walking off and dumping ammo/guts 3 rnds in.

AI does not use key mod it’s called key slot and it’s a better stronger design than the key mod and they designed key slot a very long time ago.

I agree. It also seems to have better clearance for accessories.... I find myself filing down Mlok screws often for barrel clearance

Ray you need to dive into the big infiray thermal. I’m gonna try n set that as a goal of a lifetime….over in eastern Ky we can hit the surface mines and stack bed fulls of coyotes with em. Buddies got the pulsar swaps from .300wsm to msr-10 creed…

Ray, you should check out KAK’s new upper chambered in 17-556. Supposedly you can get around 4200fps out of it with the right reloads. Would be really cool to see a video on that.

When you buy one of those.... you're not really in the market for factory ammo anymore. Better get some 8lb jugs of retumbo and h1000 or VV570 /568 and roll your own. In for an inch.... in for a mile.... 😉

That optic is cool. Need to get one so I can use it in F-class instead of needing an 1/8MOA for that I can use a fine Mil optic like this one. Plus S&B has amazing glass.

It's a lesser machine gun cartridge, and not as well designed for a harsh use/condition weapon. Less taper in the case vs lapua makes it a target round. The 300 norma does make more sense as a specialist marksman cartridge than the 300 win mag (more power). The Browning .50, 30-06, etc are good examples of machine gun cartridges, and the lapua follows their proportions. The normas don't.

Overly expensive for how unreliable, finicky, and fragile they are in my experience. I never got a supersonic reading, only airguns and .22's worked. And then recoil pulled the cone out of it. Didn't work when it was setup like a labradar would be either.

@@randomidiot8142 Im with you. Mine always records 15 fps less than my Labradar and it took a while to find a sweet spot where it worked with my suppressed 6.5x47 and 22LR. On the 22lr once I found the correct location, works every time. It's very very finicky for location though. Also kinda BS that they improved a brand new product and arent offering any sort of trade in program.

@@sf2189 mine was pretty consistently 20+ fps behind a Magnetospeed and 30+ behind a shooting chrony, with an airgun shortly before it died. Really chaps my behind that my 10+ year old 100$ shooting chrony has been working better than two doppler chronos, the labradar and bsmk4, on the same battery all that time.
