Level 23 here and soloing Tiger Bay is not for me. I died 6 times to do the UCRLA quest, managed to get the item and put it into my safebox but died otw to LZ. Mission fail. I am not going there for now, AI can headshot me from 250-300mtrs away.

Idk i use dlss frame gen 4070TI / 14700k Big towns are probably CPU intensive with all the AI so gotta have recent or new cpu

You have to only kill the ones you need to and sneak by or you are gonna run outta bullets with how many of them there are over there, I take at least 2 60 round mags and 4 extra 60 stacks of ammo just to make sure I have enough of it haha

the difference is on the CPU not on the GPU definetely, Ive a 4070 TI Super and max fps's I have in there is 70-80 fps's.

2 Things regarding AI that need to be addressed in this game asap: - getting shot by enemies you don't see, trying to find out where they are seems to be the main enemy, slowing down progress which becomes a real enemy with the respawn rate in TB or MS - at 06:40 the perfect example, hs an enemy without helmet 3 times with probably the most expensive ammo M855 A1, he's not phased and even able to shoot back, hitting you while hipfiring with one bullet...I mean, c'mon guys I was in the last 2 days hs'd 10 times in a row, one tapped by a guy I didn't even see, first bullet straight to the face. Good video, good shooting but you got lucky a couple of times there, most funny the enemy you couldn't even shoot because you were too close to him lol, a hello - I'm awake now - moment

devs already stated A.I. is just a placeholder for now as game is still in Alpha. Well see what the future updates bring but their plans for the game and AI tactics and behavior are pretty extensive and ambitious

The 6:40 battle in slo-mo shows one head shot and the AI starts to fall once it hits. First shot was wide left, second shot was a shot to the left shoulder, maybe. recoil for that shot put him on target and the head shot happened. enemy started to fall, but after the hipfire that caught the player. That said, I have mag dumped AI before they decide to die. I think that is mostly a bug with stacked ballistic calculations and the resulting lag. The AI in this game is definitely scuffed. And you couple that with the most accurate ballistics we've seen, along with a desire to be realistic, and you can get shot by folks you can't see. And I don't think you ever should. War is chance. You shouldn't always have the advantage. That's what makes this game fun for me. I could be one shotted at any moment (just like real life). Why is the player the only one that gets to hide unseen in a bush and snipe folks? Murphy's law. If it can happen, it will. And armor piercing ammo is bad when it doesn't hit armor first. It ain't great for killing stuff. Penetration never is. It is always a balancing game. Point is, I agree there are issues, but that 6:40 gunfight looked legit to me.

@@StoneyMeyerhoeffer Couple of things I might add/contradict: * countless examples/vids of enemies getting hs's and survive, even with M700 or Mosin shots. Even with FMJ, the amount of Newton generated with long rifles shouldn't require multiple hs's, let alone unarmoured enemies able to withstand these. * I'm all for difficult games, I love it but not when there's a wall of green enemies can shoot through and you don't, remember MS around the hotel or TB through foliage. Enemies should have the same LOS as you, simple comme bonjour. * They might claim to have the most realistic ballistic calculations/effects, this isn't true. Watch Soldier of Fortune II (2004) with legendary hit registration/dismemberment. The problem with this game is trotally server related issues. Try shooting enemies while on a chopper, the game literally stops which signifies a problem with hit registration by the server. Bad coding it's called. * I hope you realize the amount of headshots generated in any war is a rare occurence, it's also logic since most soldiers aim center mass and the head is only 1/8 of a body, 12,5%. In a realistic fps this should be implemented as well.

@@Yoda300YearsAgo Soldier of fortune did not model accurate internal, external, or even terminal ballistics. This game is further than anything has been. Look at the demo. Soldier of fortunedid know "exactly" where you were hit, what was in the way, and therefore what it should damage, but it applied no terminal physics in that function. That is not ballistics simulation. It's hit simulation. I have been mag dumping AI from the chopper on a regular basis. I have hit one, saw him drop. I figure everything else were just misses. Never had the game stop on me. Your stats are accurate for general infantry in large scale combat because studies have found soldiers, until their life is obviously in danger, will miss on purpose. Special operators and mercs are a whole different animal. As are lower count revolutionary forces. I would put the combatants in this game in that category. Marine Force Recon, Delta, Seals, etc. have much different stats in combat. Also, small scale battles have much different results in stats as stakes are higher. And those who have a tie to their home, will behave differently. Counterpoint is that headshots are hard and there are fewer good shooters than people normally think. So headshots should be infrequent. Most of my one shots have been body and neck. The AI hasn't really hit me in the head more than 5 times in over 100 hours. I know because I bitched every time it happened because they are penning my Fast MT with what amounts to ball ammo. All that said, I agree with you. The AI needs a lot of work. The player dies way to often without info, but I suspect they are "helping" the AI a lot, otherwise they would get bowled over right now with how stupid they are. I guess this because most of what I notice aren't the bullet sponges. Its the guys that never reload. That have urianium depleted rounds in their rifle somehow. That they hit me 6 times center mass from 40 yards with that shitty submachine gun. So yeah. Lots of things need to get worked out. But I would still be fine with dying as often as I do against AI with those things pulled more in line with reality. My hope is that they are as much like people as possible from a difficulty perspective. That they are as hard as PvP. Watching folks play Tarkov and wing Scavs in the leg to watch them run around standing up shooting in random directions is something I hope this game avoids.

Im loving the game, just the ai are crzy. i 3 tapped a enemy AI in the back of the head, he turns to shoot hip fires to my face at 200 yards, that needs to be fixed. But i freaking love this game

160fp/s is crazy I can hardly run 70 on a 3080ti with a ryzen 9 5900x, I’m running both cpu/gpu overclocked. CPU is sitting at around 4.7ghz and the gpu is around 2,300mhz and still nothing!!! It’s sad. I hope they can optimize the game.

Look at the shots at 12 sek. The smoke from the mussle are blocking the crosshair and mil dots in the scope. So smoke is sqeezed inside the scope and fogging the lenses...or????Wake up.Lots of crap in this game. Way to early relesed..

For me this game is the most disipointing game ever. The Game of guessing where to aim. It is not posible to se the crosshair in the scopes in 90% of situations. It is like they are mounted on the tip of the berral. Even trying with sniper setup 80% of my view is around the scope not in it and cross to aim with is not posible to see. If i zoom scope crosshair grow and get smaller. Just stupid. Alot of work needs to be don with the aiming and the dislokated left arm of the shooter. Hope it is bether if i try it in 2 to 5 years from now.
