I love that you gave your reasoning for putting projects on hold, particularly when the reason was lots of color changes. Such a perfect reminder that stitching is supposed to be fun, and putting down a project to start another to avoid burnout is valid and good!!

Wonderful projects. You're very talented. The red and white was my favourite . I used to do a lot of cross stitching and embroidery (a very long time ago) I am now a quilter and I am working on seven quilts at the time, all in different stages of progress. Wow, you have some really gorgeous pieces in progress. I think the Once Upon A time is delightful, adding the names instead of months was genius. I have a couple of favourites that I will be getting. I have a wip that I started in my twenties and was so close to finishing then came career, marriage and children. Now turning 53 soon and I have dug it out and am furiously back stitching then it will be a finish, so you’ve got some time! So funny that you put the alphabet one away as it took “too much brain power” to adjust adding in a letter considering you’re a psychiatry MD resident 😂 Happy to see your Bookcase colours as I was waiting for that before I start the SAL. You inspired me to go through and organize my wips, but a lot of my wips were inspired by seeing yours. I immediately go order them. I use those bags too and they're great. We are retired and live in a 40 ft rv and travel the country, so space is a premium. The bags stack nicely in my closet and my husband can't complain that I have too many. I also have a project book that I am writing down all my projects and the date I start them. Maybe that will inspire me to finish them all this year. Probably not, especially if you continue to get such beautiful results!

Hi Shiloh -- I enjoy your channel very much. I love your energy and you are stitching a few of the same projects that I am. After watching the WIP parade I recall you talking about wanting something to hang your threads on. I bought a 3 level over the door towel rack from Wayfair. I hang my silks on the top rung and cottons on the bottom two rungs. I got the idea from Liz of Country Stitchers on Floss tube. Her husband had affixed a multi arm towel holder to a piece of board and painted and mounted it in her craft room. I don't have someone to do that so as I was browsing Wayfair one day, I saw a towel holder that fit over the door with 3 levels. Ordered it and it works like a charm. I use 2 inch book rings and cable key rings that I get from Amazon which are red, blue, green, yellow and black each of which are in 3 sizes and have barrell ends as connectors $12.99 for 30 pieces. Just an idea you might want to try also.

This was fantastic of you to put this together! It will certainly keep me stitching. I've decided ,though, to keep my project count relatively low (2 or 3), so that my focus won't be pulled so quickly to other projects. That's a very bad habit I've gotten into. I see another project and my focus gets drawn away. So this new year, I'm focusing more on only 2 or 3 to see how I do.🙂 Keepbup the great work, Shiloh!

Thanks for sharing your WIPs. I love your idea of doing the Ink Circles series in Silks4U. She has so many colors! I have a couple of the IC patterns. Now, I will have to decide on fabric and floss. I have so many things I want to start. I purchased some Owl Forest Embroidery kits and patterns. There is a tea and a coffee that I want to do as a matching set. I also bought a dinosaur kit to make for my 1 year old baby boy’s room. Maybe it will get done before he moves out 😂. Currently, I’m working on Winterwonderland. I’m 33% done. I’m not ready to set it down yet. Happy New Year!

I am also working on Quaker Rose and had to smile when you held it up - I have almost exactly the same amount done, working on the rose which was maybe one or two rows short of where you were on it! I also love quakers. If you haven’t seen Dragonfly Quaker, you should find it on Etsy. It is also ginormous and done in shades of teal and blue. I’m doing it all in a variegated sulkey and it’s just gorgeous!

I am doing The Bookcase too - just waiting for my brown floss from Colour Compliments - it is a rich mahogony brown and I have already picked out my colours for the books - all DMC but in jewel tones of red, green, blue, gold, grey etc. Colours that you'd see in leather bound books - other than that - just making it up as I go along. My MIL is doing The Bookcase too - just mailed her the pattern!

I fell in love with WinterWonderLand 2019 SAL by Historische Stickmuster and did look at the instagram posters of this pattern. When I saw the pattern, my brain saw it on a blue fabric. All your projects are just so beautiful! I wanted to start The Bookcase this weekend, but my not-so-local LNS is closed for a long holiday. So it will have to wait until next weekend.
