4:00 I was actually so close to pull of a double overtake round the outside but I couldn't get a quick exit without wheel spinning my car And you're welcome for the battle in the last few laps, my race was going nowhere, tried the 2 stop strategy but turned out to be slower than the 1 stop, good consolation for the both of us from being bored.

One thing I've found that helps me alot with these races is instead of doing all my practice in the free practice I'll just do a custom race with the exact race settings and I'll start like 7th so I can feel the dirty air and such but still be p1 by end of lap 2 and then I just run laps like that and Practice the strategy

You have a great attitude man, kept cool, calm, and collected through some very frustrating moments. You also have a tremendous amount of skill which makes it crazier to see how many people there are out there at, near, or even beyond your skill level. I mainly drift with my t300 but often try my hand at the Sport Mode time trials to get some extra cash. I can't imagine driving the way you do. Always a pleasure watching you do your thing

The frame rate studders are a deal breaker, absolutely no excuse for the jankyness. Started on Gran Turismo, moved to Forza once they stopped devolving GT past a PS2 feeling level. Forza actually gives you what you want instead of living with strict restrictions with Gran Turismo

Steve, the reason you were so much slower on slot 3 was the wind direction. The optimal one for this race was the one you had on slot 2, you got the opposite direction on race 3. It makes A LOT of difference on laptime.

Yeah, Gran Turismo has an absurd penalty system. It's not made to punish guilty drivers, it outright punishes you if you make a mistake, it's like the game constantly wants to rub further salt in the wound. For example, on Mount Panorama, you overcook it into the hairpin before the second long straight, you lose time, gain damage AND the game gives you a penalty, which is not even based off of anything. Ridiculous

I'm usually fairly quick, not anywhere like world tour level but within a second usually. But for some reason in this race I was just completely off the pace, couldn't qualify for shit. Sector 1 and the hairpin would just ruin my laptimes. Guess this might be a limitation of pace for controller drivers? I'd love to talk to anyone that's like really up there in the top 100 drivers that uses pad and can actually compete on this track.

You have different times in the qualifying because the conditions are changing. 1. 2.1ms to east (3 clock) 2. 2.8ms to northwest (10.5 clock) 3. 2.1ms to east with a bit of south (4 clock)

Whenever I use those Super Formula cars with my Thrustmaster T150 wheel, the wheel starts vibrating when it reaches 160MPH and it really affects the laptime. Anyone know how to resolve this problem? It started acting that way after one of the updates several months ago. Really frustrating

Super GT. I am doing the same races here in the USA. But your race is slightly different then what I was able to race in. Your race had more laps and a different grid start. It that because you are A+ and I am Upper B class. Working hard to get to that A class.

The new Super Formula cars are designed to minimize the effects of dirty air. It's still a component to be aware of for sure, but it should be less of a factor in comparison to the SF19 cars if the Gran Turismo aerodynamics simulation accounts for this difference.

I was a big fan of gran turismo 3 growing up. It was fun and easy to collect cars and there were no penalties. But these days it’s disheartening to see the cost of the cars in GT as well as the ridiculous penalties. Hope Polyphony change their mind and try to create a pure racing game without the financial and sporting gimmicks.

to optimize exit speed never up shift in a corner it just slows you down. ex: on the final hairpin you go down to 1st and then up shift twice into 3rd, never go down to 1st go to 2nd, you will be faster. p.s just full send it.
