This is going to be long. (Apologies) I don't know why but when I get sick with a cold or a fever I start to feel emotions I haven't felt before in either a long time or never. I feel more sensitive but for some reason only to positive things. The extents are from calm things to existential emotional things. While I am sick and I watch this video, this is my first time too, I feel at home, safe, while outside, at the park at night, alone, in the cold with a slight barely noticeable breeze, there are these guys playing music behind me while I sit on the bench, they are in the middle of the light the park light is shining, I do not worry to possibly embarrass them or myself by watching but it’s almost as if they aren’t there, they are there playing music but at the same time the music is coming from nowhere, I listen calmly, one is raised keeping the pace while one is on the ground covering the melody, the one that should be thought of as the back end, as the drums are typically only meant to keep the tempo, is instead up and out and he is happy while the one that you would expect to get more of the attention sits below them covering their face with a hoodie keeping them in their own space, they are brotherly in this bond, neither minds and do not think much to it but despite what they can't see they are meant to be this way, a sway in power shared between each other, the music that they play is as if they are playing to an audience, not just to themselves, but it's only me an them, both of them has so much light beaming onto them neither of them shadowed, there is no honking, no cars, no pedestrians, just the seemingly incorporeal beings playing music and me, the city lights are on to give the comfort of people being around, not being alone, but only as an afterthought sitting on the backburner. You are safe but happy to be alone accompanied by these two men playing music for all. There are no repercussions to sitting and listening without end. There are no worries as if you forgot them. All there is are you and the sounds of a joy beyond yourself being shown to you. A gift being given to you allowing yourself peace but it feels more like a miracle by chance. You welcome it.

The beautiful rendition of one of my favourite songs, the perfect harmony, the faint ambient noise of the park, the lush green grass contrasting with the grey evening sky, the trees, the city lights, the people walking by.
