I have the Goal Zero Portable Solar AA and AAA battery charger and Luna light strip power pack combo. That unit is cool for charging larger batteries though.

Hi Fred, Curious if you did any comparisons between this charger and the new Nitecore D2 (2 bay) or D4 (4bay) new 2015 version both now with a digital display. I'm trying to ascertain which one would be a faster rate of charging.

dude these charges charge 500mah to each battery and took me 5 hrs to charge 3000mah, even if you find a fast charger your batteries will have shorter bench life

SingleStacked They are shipped from China but in most cases you should get the items in a couple of weeks. They are much faster then Fasttech :)

After looking high and low and in between (and yes, I do my homework well), I came across this charger on (expensive) but, as I kept looking elsewhere I rediscovered it at for much less when compared with amazon UK pricing (although its still more than US sale price). However, I must say, that I am floored by its performance. Its by far the best built, best display and very easy to read Li-ion charger on the market!
