When you first put the 26650 in, charging is with 2A (at 4:40). Later, with all slots filled, it seems to charge the 26650 with 1A only (at 8:05). Why? (All in all it looks good, with a lot of information, and charges 21700 too) Thanks for the presentation!

This is strange to see that it's supposed to work with Li-ion batteries, because in my case it doesn't. I just got a freshly unpacked Xtar X4 to recharge Windfire batteries (LC 18650 4000mAh 3.7V Li-ion) and it doesn't seem to recognise these batteries even after 10 minutes. Of course these batteries are empty, so I tried to recharge them with that Xtar recharger...no luck, the batteries stood empty and did not allow me to use my lamp torch. What's the problem then? Edit: I have tried with a Varta battery (AA LR6 1.5V...it's all that's written on it) and it worked just fine. Is it because the voltage of the Windfire batteries is too high?

Hi, just looking for a bit of advice about the Xtar X4 I just bought. At the end of a charge it will flash and say FULL and then flash 1144mah or 0000mah or 0065mah my current different batteries. What does this mean? Is it an indicator of the batteries health? They should be 3000mah. Does 0000mah or 0065mah or 1144mah mean the batteries are too old and needs disposing off with 0000 being the worst and 1144 being the best I have? I'm not sure.

It really depends on how much the battery has in power when you charge it. For example if you drain the battery to 2.5v then charge it you will see a higher mAh level verses one the is only partially drained. Thanks for watching!
