Dude sounds great. Great choice too. My favorite track from O's and L's.

That kit sounds really good

Hi! Great work, great song, great group! Is that a factory-preset drumkit? Which one? The sound module is not a revamped TD-6V, is it?

Do you have the kit on some kind of cushion? Doesn't it bother you that the whole kit wobbles as you play? I guess you must have it on a cushion because you don't want to disturb your family/neighbor with the kick of the bass drum?

Yes. I use a cushion that aim to suppress the sound of bass pedal. And it makes the kit wobble. So i am struggling. It can't be avoided because of consideration for neighbours.

I have a suggestion that will help you. You can DIY an acoustic panel cushion that will stop the transferring of impact/vibration noise, but keep your entire kit more stable. Get a broadband absorption panel such as the Owens Corning 703 glassfiber panel. You'll have to use maybe two panels side-by-side for the area you need, and then you'll put a wooden board on top of the whole thing, and put the entire kit including your throne on it. Now, you have a more stable platform (solid board), with an acoustic panel cushion that stops transmission of impact/vibration noise. You can take a look at my studio design to see the floor diagram, which shows this idea (but applied to the whole floor, instead of only the size of a drum kit + throne): www.ethereality.info/ethereality_website/about_me/images/workspace/cloud_pagoda/cloud_pagoda-design_construction.htm The entire project will cost you very little money. You can buy the Owens Corning 703 from here: www.gikacoustics.com/product-category/building-supplies-diy/ There are other places you can buy from--just search "acoustic panels" on google. That design idea was created by an expert (Rod Gervais) who wrote this book on studio design: www.amazon.com/Home-Recording-Studio-Build-Like/dp/143545717X When I designed my studio, I asked him many questions, and he helped me a lot. If you have questions, you can ask him or other experts on these forums: recording.org/index.php?forums/studio-construction-acoustics-forum.24/ www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=19&sid=10c7f5eed900bf0fbbb7ea4354e1ecf5 www.gearslutz.com/board/studio-building-acoustics/
