Hiya... Thanks for your video! I have the exact same setup. however, I struggle with the pooling of water and have really tried to overcome this several times with different ideas and I reckon the 'ridge' bar needs to have a more acute angle - mine is almost flat with hardly any angle on it - disappointing, and which, of course has caused stretching with the weight of the water on top - I get out with the broom and have to literally push the water off, from underneath, of course. Instead of using the tie-down for your close to the van pole, I have cable-tied it to the mounting bracket of the awning to take the 'strain' so to speak because I have a floor and a skirt and can't secure a peg through either. The only disappointment I have is the pooling of water, it has always done this and I cannot figure out how to overcome it. Yes I am in QLD with intense rain at times - any ideas or suggestions would be awesome! Other than that issue, I agree, I wouldn't be without it! BTW, I have, at times put my 3 step ladder underneath with the broom (soft side upwards) to make, like a tent - raising the roof (again sts), to 2.4m which absolutely creates a run-off. Definitely not a preferred method in the middle of the night (or anytime for that matter), should I contact Extend to see what can be done?
