I would honestly just call them emotional. It is the long version of the word "emo" yet, "emo" is used to describe a type of music like rock and pop are. However, there is a "rock" and "pop" lifestyle as well as an emo one. Yet, emotional is the correct term to use. It is true that the Skywalkers are emotional. Anakin, Luke, and Kylo are all very emotional. Leia even has her moments. This may have something to do with either how they were raised (half were either in slavery, didn't know who their fathers were and grew up in the middle of nowhere) or their age. They are rather young and grew up without figuring out a lot of important things in their lives that make them themselves. These transformations commonly occur in a person's teen or young adult years. Anakin, Luke, and Kylo are young adults and maybe just becoming adults and are going through these changes. That is all I could think of in a medical stand-point. However, we will all honestly never know.....unless we ask the creators.
