I think the comparisons to elliot smith and daniel johnston are fair and valid in some rights, but he is completely unique in his own special killer way and kind of outgrows those comparisons once you give a listen go a few of his albums, namely trick, dsu, beach music and rocket are all good starts if you want to check him out some more! once you listen and if you enjoy he has an endless amount of earlier self released albums and unreleased stuff that’s all over the internet that is totally killer!
