Woah... this game looks awesome in HD and in widescreen! Widescreen for a shooter designed for 4:3 kinda isn't proper though and you can see some culling near the edges of the screen. But it looks nice. I'd still play it like this to be honest lol. The home version of Time Crisis 4 actually had an HD 16:9 option that optimized enemy layouts. But that meant that it suffered from more framedrops and also because of the altered enemy layouts it was not arcade-perfect.

great video, I've been tryi g to get this game running for years, my system is good enough but I've been getting audio stutters and all sorts of issues. Can you confirm what bios version your have and what some of your key setting are if possible :) Thanks

you need to get the PAL version of the game and play it with the european 2.00 bios.

Strange, all m y settings are the same as yours except i cant find Diect3D9 (hardware) in the render settings and my game just boots up until the playstation logo and freezes after thst.

Try using the latest PCSX2 v1.7.0 (im using default settings and it works perfectly fine), or u can try 'Set the EE cyclerate to -3'. Good luck mate.

@@nathanbyberg Does it work using Intel Q43/Q45 chipset graphics card and Intel Core Duo 2 E8500 processor that I'm using? It seems a bit slow but the cutscenes are even slower than the gameplay, but the link (www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=6219&software=PCSX2) says "Intel Q43/Q45 chipset does not meet minimum requirements", however, says "Intel Core Duo 2 E8500 processor does meet minimum requirements".

Try using PCSX2 v1.5.0 or the latest v1.6.0 it should be fine.

Why this game has soo many perfomance issues on pcsx2? and worse is the original mame game on a emulator no one has been able to figured out the issue. I think the only solution would be to reverse engenieer the game but no one has interest enough on doing such thing.

One of the few times crisis ports that graphically superior to the arcade version. The PS2 port blows away the arcade version in graphics and gameplay (it's manages to be a solid 60fps with very little dips in frame rate).

Ale su kusky napr. ako vidis GT4 kde sa kus zapotis. Mne dala hra Mercenaries zabrat kym som ju v HW spojadnil aspon vo fullhd, lebo robila neplechu :). Sorry za dlhy text, ale chcel som to popisat co najpodrobnejsie, plus doplnit nejake vlastne skusenosti. Spokojne tie preskoc a sustred sa na dolezite a to je nastavenie emulatora pre GT4. Ahoj
