I alway like your tutorials. You’re a good teacher. I usually get a D- in understanding them but today I think I got a C+. I’ve never seen that before. Thanks for the video. 😆

Thank you for demonstrating that TPMS reader/tool. Like you, I love gadgets, and the xTool looks pretty good. I drive a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. When I get my tires checked and rotated at Discount Tire, the technicians always tell me that a couple of my TPMS (sensor) batteries are very low. When I take the car into the dealership for inspections or oil changes, I ask the service manager to check the tires, and I explain that DT says two of the sensor batteries read as very low. At the last visit, the service manager told me that there were no problems with any of the sensors' batteries and that sometimes DT techs will give customers the wrong information. My issue is that at certain speeds (anywhere between 65 and 75 mph), the sensor light will flash, which causes anxiety for me. I now have a folded up paper receipt covering that annoying light, and I get the tires checked on a regular basis.

Yes, do a visual check before driving. A short walk around the vehicle will do. If you see anything unusual, it's time to drive it to the nearest gas station and air it up.

@bettysuelong4268 😱 Are you going to change out the sensors yourself? It's a lot of money for it! I have 4 cars in the house. That's why I think it is worth the investment.

" good job " Tim, more people have trouble with those sensors for air pressure . keep the scanner for future needs , return the new sensor and go back to your tape or sticker cover for the light . Hey, your ' Mo Bang ' your smart enough to check and fill your own tires . Hope your doing well and stay safe. 🙂

Sensors last about 6-8 years, maybe up to ten. Easier to replace when you get new tires. About every five years. As they already have the tire off the wheel. If you travel like tim, just track how long its been since you replaced them as you probably change tires more than every five years. Dodge and ram are easiest as there is no specific placement, it reads off location not unique id from sensor. PITA if you do it yourself. It can be done, but just pay tire guy on this one.

I was reading the information for the Xtool TP-150 diagnostic tool a it states that it will only program TS100 sensors by Xtool but saw in your video that you used a different brand of sensors. How were you able to program the Jsueng sensors with this tool?
@MoBangFoYoBucks2 ай бұрын
It automatically records the serial number after reading the sensor. Then you can reprogram the TPMS with the new sensors ID. You can also manually program them in.
@futurestradingwithmike2 ай бұрын
@@MoBangFoYoBucks Thanks for the information.
@futurestradingwithmike2 ай бұрын
I contacted XTOOL and they stated that the TP150 is only capable of programming new sensors that are the XTOOL TS100 brand. No other brands are supported.
@MoBangFoYoBucks2 ай бұрын
Of course, they need to sell their own sensors! When I rotates tires, the ID s are no longer in the right place. I reprogram the OEM sensors to see if it works, and it does. That certainly is not XTOOL sensors!
@futurestradingwithmike2 ай бұрын
@@MoBangFoYoBucks So you where able to replace and program the Jsueng sensors using the Xtool TP150 just fine? Thanks
