Xtool S1 with IR Laser!

I have debated getting this for my S1, getting the 40w module (i have 20W S1) or getting the F1, lol. Mostly i do 3d printing so this module may be beneficial, thank you very much for this video.

Do you cut metals and gold?

No- I do not use the @ watt IR to cut metals, not sure if it can.

Is this laser interchangeable from a software standpoint? I have xtool s1 pro. Will my software support IR? My current laser is 40w diode?

That is a great question. In the USA the S1 only comes in 1 version with 3 different blue laser power levels, 10w, 20, and 40 watt. The IR is compatible with the S1. The Xtool software automatically detects the IR on power up so as long as the software is up to date you're all good!

Instead of marking your work area, just set the red X in the center of your project. Then center and orient your properly sized image on the red X in the work space. Check your layout with the framing command and if it looks good hit start. Quick and easy.
