It is not just a Dart of striking targets, it is a heavy iron ball like shaped to also strike targets of a blunt impact as the twirls is the hidden motions of striking of blunt impact can shatter bones and very dangerous or a vicious impact that will cause great pain beyond any that person has felt. Whipping to strike not just to dart or spear , just using the weight of a blunt impact has many areas on body very easily, like a person's shin, kneecap, arm, wrist etc. The MOST SERIOUS IMPACT OF BLUNT FORCE IS IN THE FACE AND HEAD AREA where a person can get killed or permanently having brain damage as with paralyzing if target hits certain points of body. It is major and the show of the motions is an understatement on how dangerous it is when using in self defense.

Yeah but if you ignore the fundamentals of a thing can you really say you learned it? Rope Dart is those long flashy "redirections". Otherwise you are just kinda throwing a knife with an easy retrieval system. Not really that impressive or fun.

But the flasher redirections are the reasons for surprise to an opponent brotha, learning to aim it in multiple ways makes you flow smoothly, negating the need for restarting the momentum for power and when you do, you get to be a capable fighter with it. Every shot, twine, spin, becomes effective if it connects or makes contact to your target. The damage is variable.
