How was the experience overall? Was thinking of trying but was afraid that they would limit you in many ways but from this it doesn't look like it.

I had a great experience, I am excited to do it again this year in a GT3. The instructors are sitting and driving these cars for a living. They will feel when a car is not feeling right due to the drivers abilities. I had no issues with my instructor, if I had the ability to do a couple more laps I for sure would have been able to test more of the limits. But 3 quick laps is just enough time to have a good time and not get into trouble. Drivers with different skill levels will get a different experiences.

Did they let you set up your own cameras, or did you have to get the footage from them?

This is recorded with their camera’s. Had to pay for the media package to get the footage.

I would've told the instructor to quiet down and let me drive. If I only got 3 laps I'm going to make the most of it and certainly drive it like I stole it.
