I expected more inversions but with it being a free spinning one, you really can't control that

The park was being quite careful with the balancing of the cars to try and minimise the spin as much as possible. But you always get at least one good flip 🙂

Yes, indeed it is. It's just a shame they now balance the weight to try and minimise the flipping.

That's correct. I'm pretty sure not everyone hated it though 😉 It's a low capacity ride, so probably not best suited to a busy park like MM.

It was but it had modification to it that this one doesn’t. Magic Mountain weighted the cars so they couldn’t flip and so you just spent the whole ride just hanging basically.

The state of California made Magic Mountain change the restraints and that made the seats and cars heavier which made them spin differently.
