The adjustable weight is the battery, it's mounted floating in a carrier in the middle front part of the mouse. The carrier and the battery have a total weight of 13g. I have been printing out shape testers on my 3D printer and have noticed that i don't hate this shape at first touch. That's a new for me because normally i want to drown all gaming mouse manufacturers in a big sticky swamp since they don't make stuff for my hands. I have 15cm hands. I'm in my 40s, i have pain niggles. I don't want an extra separate mouse just for gaming. Though i don't know yet whether i'll like the shape long term. But at least you know, progress.

It was release 1 year ago and its an ergo specially great for palm which isnt your favourite but idk. Its so unique that i d think would be cool for you to look into

I have the Makalu 67 and it definitely in my top 5 of the 33 mice I currently own. I bought it to go with my Mountain keyboard, and was surprised how much I ended up like it! I just wish they had a wireless version!

thats the weight balancing. its stuck on 70-71 grams it just moves the center of gravity of the mouse lower/higher. lower CoG - feels heavier higher CoG - feels faster both still at 70-71g

18.5x10cm - Just bought this mouse, migrating from Kone Pro Air. I absolutely prefer the M4's shape with the extra shell (extra hump) they've added. Going back to grip my KPA, the left side of the mouse is extremely comfortable but I find my grip on the right side to be loose and lacking which causes awkward control when tracking targets in games or micro adjusting. Issue is not present with the M4. Flicking and micro-adjusting after said flick is muuuuuuuuch more stable and reliable with this mouse's shape. I've been in shock at how tuned my tracking has become after working with the KPA for so long because it seemed to be endgame between comfort and performance. I'm someone who grew up with and is fond of the classic Logitech MX518 style shell and have been struggling to secure a modern mouse that performs well. The new ones have an awful LOD and forced me to explore alternate options. Related to boardzy's video, there is no rattling in this mouse. I think he may have borked his screws on his review mouse when messing with the weight system and swapping out shells. They need to be tightened completely and once they are, everything becomes completely solid again if it was seated correctly. Squeezing the mouse has no creaking at all and I found all the buttons to be extremely responsive and nice. Also am not sure why he pointed out the weak side buttons, they're perfectly fine and easily accessible. Not as present as the KPA's, but not as bad as entries like the MM731 and almost on par with the Superlight. The rounded pill shape of the Superlight is still one of the better side button designs I've experienced, but at the end of the day they're just side buttons and serve minimal purpose. These are just as easy to click and access. It's a tough call, though. I personally find this one better overall, especially considering it doesn't need extra software to access the functionality. That is one of my biggest gripes with mice these days, literally installing an app bloated beyond a few gigabytes just to tune DPI or RGB settings. Everything 99.99% of people need is accessible through a combination of macro keys that are well-documented in the manual. Edit: forgot to mention the mouse feet. The KPA is definitely smoother from the start because they're heat-treated and have a larger surface, but I find the M4's stock feet to be just as solid overall. They're rounded nicely and look to be fairly thick, maybe about 0.8mm. The texture of my Hayate Otsu soft is noticeable, but not annoying. The KPA's feet are not noticeable at all, completely smooth experience, but are slightly slower than the M4's stock feet. Again with the micro-adjustments in tracking, I find the M4's better overall. I had a tough time smoothly tracking with the KPA whereas the M4 is pretty much butter no matter what the situation (think slicing the pie when peaking around a corner and following the edge of the wall and open area. Way easier with the M4 shape/feet.)

Boardzy, you should really look into getting a boom arm for that re20, would suit you much better and you could just place it to an angle where you don't have to kind of look down to talk straight to the front of the microphone, have that mic and use the Rode PSA1, works way better than my old tripod stand I kept on my desk just like you. But anyway, really enjoyed the video! Had really great points about this mouse which to me at least seem all true since I too own this mouse.
