【學歷是對自己追求】麥明詩：不應用學歷衡量一個人價值

麥明詩今日到灣仔出席「香港翡翠創作雙年賽」啟動禮，有報道指無綫藝員劉思希報讀科大EMBA課程，算是圈中高學歷其中一位代表，但畢業於牛津大學的麥明詩舊愛林作，則表示不覺得是高學歷，亦不贊成別人對學歷過度崇拜。
麥明詩避重就輕地說：「亞洲社會著重學歷，要張『沙紙』，我慶幸也有張『沙紙』，但做娛樂圈幾年，覺得學歷是自己對自己的追求，不應該用這樣去衡量一個人的價值。我無Follow林作ig，不過認識的他很喜歡自嘲、諷刺的。」她又認為讀大學應是追求學術知識，但自己當年修讀劍橋法律系，課程比較實務：「如果可以再揀，會讀純學術性科目，練習思維獨特一點。」

HK TLC 佢思路尚算清晰，但諗野唔夠長遠，只諗到下一句。整體黎講佢自己自己要講d 咩，但轉數比較慢，表達能力比個腦轉得更慢，若在十年或再以前，一早俾班觀眾插到飛起，個陣讀法律既人全部精英之中既精英，話頭醒尾，舉一反三，氣場行出黎真係好唔同，依家佢仲係劍橋出來既法律學生，但好多方面都幾強差人意。

@@moralityisdying3603 你講得好啱，好中肯，佢某啲 point確實有自己的見解，但整體表達能力非常一般，未能够一語中的表達出自己嘅中心思想，因此引起觀眾誤解，觀眾誤解唔一定係觀眾冇水準，講者表達能力亦係一要素。另外，佢對外，公關技巧，傳媒應對方面亦好弱，未有掌握到如何有力表達非主流意見但今大眾信服嘅說話技巧。

那班百弹齋主常针对麥明诗对传媒的回应怎样慢怎样窒，极尽所能去找她说话的毛病和碴子。她不是圣人，总不会样样表现满分。我从不觉得她哂学歷和擺出一副高不可攀的姿态。每次都是记者们強调这❛铁一般的事实❜，只是你班酸民不愿意面对和接受别人的优秀，处处不懷好意地公審和批判麥吧了！我想有得哂总好过冇得哂，整天嘮嘮嘈嘈，滿腔怨气😫也无济於事。如阁下有料都可以攞出来哂吓🌅！

if she did not buy "famous" school brand name, she won't go to Cambridge. Do people think a 10-A student easy to get into one of the most famous and prestigious university of the world? Just there are too many losers in the world, only 1% or less than 1% could get into one of those famous schools. And now that she's doing entertainment business, she cannot say it out loud about what she's really thinking about, there are too many haters. The thing is most of the Chinese societies (even in Singapore), chinese are tend to look upon on your universities ranking or even high-school ranking, how could anyone believe in such a thing as low-rank schools are enough for your relatives or even your friends? you would most prefer a friend who was graduated from Oxbridge than one of the lowest-rank university in Australia or USA.

The way she speaks sounds hypocritical and her giggles sound disrespectful as if she's mocking all the others. It is quite a joke when she said she would choose a more 'philosophical subject' over a 'functional subject' like law if she were given a second chance. It looks pretty obvious to me that she is trying to give a lenient comment so as to please the reporters and the general public while hiding the harsh and practical side of herself. In fact, her actual behaviors tell it all. Getting 10 As, fighting her way to a law degree at Cambridge, and finally a bar qualification in the States. I think it would be more natural if she could just admit her values attached to the importance of education....

If she is so fond of "philosophic" subjects, she would not do something so crass as parading her self in a bikini in public!! All her life, she has been a hard-headed, materialistic, opportunistic, calculating person, so stop pretending you want something entirely different.

It is very obvious that she is always trying to justify her unpopular actions and sayings with some grand reasons, or simply putting things to the so called 'irony' as if only people with high qualifications know what irony means... Perhaps she forgets there is sth called a 'failed irony' in which only the writer can understand and has no appeal to the public at all... ..she may be successful if she stays in the legal or academic industry but in the showbiz, when one is facing the general public which comprises people from all walks of lives, a harsh, aggressive and critical personality wouldnt get her too far. To put simply, it is pretty obvious to me that she has spent all her life thinking abt how to climb up the ladder but hardly has she thought abt how to be a well liked person. But in the showbiz, being popular and loved by the public is what u need.

i dont think her giggles are meant to be disrespectful, maybe more of nervous reaction. I think what she's trying to say is that college is the time & place for students to think philosophically because they are given the opportunity to learn different subjects.

@@renelenore4908 indeed what her giggles imply is very subjective in nature and they are prone to various interpretations. I think some of her points are valid. However, her presentation manner and choice of words in front of the media are not skillful. She has yet to master the craft of persuasion so that her central ideas, which may not be mainstream at times, can be understood and accepted by the general public effectively.
