Nobody’s going to agree with me; however, ever since I saw the actor who played the role of the Duke’s father I’m thinking he should be playing the role of the Duke🧐. The current actor is too young for this role of Duke Su😳. I know they wanted to give the young viewers some “eye candy;” however, this role should’ve been given to a veteran actor (around 35-40 years old) in order to be more believable🧐. No 20-year old boy-man going to be given this much power and he’s also commanding an army in his spare time😂🤣😂 When did he have time to gain his knowledge? When did he train his soldiers? His father was killed when he was a child and his grandfather didn’t give him the time of day😳. All the conversations indicates that he’s the same age of the FL which she’s playing the role of a woman about 19🧐 If a person can get off of their backside and become a “General” a lot of countries would want him😂🤣😂

I don't agree with one part of what you put because I DON'T CARE TO. I love this show and if it's not factually correct then so be it. It's never really stated what time period it is in. So it's just a well done drama

The lead actress herself, Wu Jinyan said...( & u can find it in a few interviews she gave in You Tube) how she was "impressed that as young as he was, he completely transformed into the Duke, not giving a hint of his young age". When the cameras were off, the actor switched easily to be himself.
