might be a dumb question but can i ask if the position of the characters play important role or just a matter of preference? like putting a sustain in the 1st slot

It matters Specially with buffers and healers like huohuo If Huo huo Is in the middle of team, she wouldn't heal one character of the team, that's the reason why huo huo need to stay in the last or First position Sorry for my english

another example is with preservation characters/shielders, since they will be targeted and hit often by the enemy, sometimes the characters next to them will also get hit. so you'd want to put your squishy characters away from them. putting your dps next to the shielder can also be beneficial since getting hit generates more energy for their ult too
