Xunantunich Mayan Ruins in Belize - A Princess Cruise Excursion

This was a long day, but a good one. We purchased this excursion through Princess when we booked our cruise on the Royal. The climb if fairly strenuous, and would have been more so if it had been a typical hot day. We were very lucky to have a mild day with no direct sun.

How much walking did you have to do to get to the ruins? I can’t walk a lot or on slopes and uneven ground with rocks etc. The portions you shows in the video looks easy though. How far did you have to walk?

@@JJT-f5g it’s medium strenuous…. A fair amount of walking, and the climb up isn’t for everyone. We are in pretty good health so no issues for us. Good luck!

I have been to Belize and Xunantunich and I am only 13 and it is so beautiful, we stayed in Hopkins village and went scuba diving it was unlike any other place I have been
