u kinding me how come any other great rog player is not doing as good as smug ?? rog is a very powerful character but still got very bad weakness. try using rog against​ Laura, geif, rachid, fang , Cammy, or r.mika?? all these characters give rog a hard time . smug is rank #1 for a reason. his rog is very good. his Karen was pretty good but st5 ROG is a mix between rog and dudley that's why smug is doing well with the character

Smug is really incredible online. However I'm not so sure that he's the best Balrog. After seen what Iwate can do with Daigo and Itazan I'm really biased into thinking that, just like many times in the past, the japanese player may not have the upper hand on mix ups in general but his footsie game is borderline impeccable.

Draxis32 Smug would tear Daigo apart. Once you get anybody in the corner with Balrog its basically over. Ryu's fireball game isn't like it was in sf4.
