17kmpl is a great figure for a 2000cc turbo petrol. Just one query, I too have petrol Manual and I have gotten at max 16kmpl(on the mid, 14 tank to tank) on the highway even though I drive with a very light foot and keep speeds under 100.

I am planning to buy XUV700 petrol manual in next month i am just concerned about mileage i am soft driver let me know in city you are getting 8-10kmpl and in hightway 13-15kmpl ? Please correct me if I am wrong

In the city it's 12kmpl on highway it's 14-15kmpl minimum.. rest depends on you

You don't have a choice will you spend 20lakh and deal with issues of the pdf where if it gets spoiled will you spend 1lakh plus to repair it or will you buy petrol save 2 lakh in buying and also be tension free or if you drive more than 60km daily buy a smaller engine car 1500cc or a hybrid or cng that's it diesel is practically out of question now !

Mere ko bhi XUV 700 Leni hay par es ki milage 7 to 8 kilometres dete hay ese log boltay hay es Lea may soch may pad jata ho XUV 700 lay lu ya nahi. Bhai tum bolo real milage katne hay..

One thing is ke gaadi normal banda chalata hai to kitna mileage deti hai…without any special efforts with as usual acceleration (not like a chhapri racing with everyone on the roads)… aur dusra hota hai ki aap jyada mileage lene k chakkar me extremely light foot pe chalate ho…. Please share ke normal conditions me city/highway mileage kitna milta hai

In normal condition you probably get over 14kmpl to 16kmpl with AC on… (No chapri driving, coz this could lead to 6-7kmpl)

I have Petrol manual xuv700 7 month old and I get mileage of 12-14 in city and 16-19 on highway. You just need to change your driving habits..

In which city you live ? 12 -14 avg of Xuv 700 petrol is not possible . I live in Gurgaon in city it gives 8-9 on highways it gives 12-13 if you drive carefully on aggressive driving it will give 10 on highways

@kapurscommon chandigarh, you just need to be gentle on throttle.. and between 80-90 on highway it gives 16-18 easily..

@Nomadsunny this simply gives if you are gentle on accelerator.. rest this is Bharat stage 6.2 might be that is the reason. And I always run ac in eco mode
