XUV700 Vs Scorpio-N | Real Life Practical Daily Driving Comparion | Best Mahindra SUV for Family Use

Wow! Finally I managed to make a practical comparison between drive characteristics of two trending SUVs, the Mahindra XUV700 Diesel & the Mahindra Scorpio N Diesel. While the two SUVs are also available with 2.0L mStallion Petrol Engine, the 2.2 mHawk Diesel variants are in closer observations with me. I can also make a separate comparison video for Petrol variants of both cars (on request).
The XUV700 was launched in Mid 2021 and had been in high demand since then, the BS6 Scorpio facelift was long awaited and suddenly Mahindra launched it as Scorpio-N claiming it a more premium version of old gen. Scorpio Classic. Demands of Scorpio N kept on rising since its launch and the success was immense. The two SUVs share their Petrol & Diesel engines and Manual & Automatic transmissions also, however their overall platform is different, which creates a drastic difference in drive dynamics, comfort, capabilities, premiumness and more.
I have spent good amount of time with many Diesel XUV700 variants and I have driven my own Diesel Scorpio N for nearly 15000 kms by now. In this video, I am sharing my overall observations about daily driving & practicality about both vehicles and accordingly this video can help people understand what to expect from which one.

XUV700 को 2021 के मध्य में लॉन्च किया गया था और तब से इसकी काफी मांग थी, BS6 स्कॉर्पियो फेसलिफ्ट का लंबे समय से इंतजार किया जा रहा था और अचानक महिंद्रा ने इसे पुरानी पीढ़ी का अधिक प्रीमियम संस्करण होने का दावा करते हुए स्कॉर्पियो-एन के रूप में लॉन्च किया। वृश्चिक क्लासिक. स्कॉर्पियो एन की मांग इसके लॉन्च के बाद से ही बढ़ती रही और सफलता भी अपार रही। दोनों एसयूवी अपने पेट्रोल और डीजल इंजन और मैनुअल और स्वचालित ट्रांसमिशन को भी साझा करते हैं, हालांकि उनका समग्र प्लेटफॉर्म अलग है, जो ड्राइव गतिशीलता, आराम, क्षमताओं, प्रीमियमनेस और बहुत कुछ में भारी अंतर पैदा करता है।

Test drive le lena dono ki. Har user ka taste alah hota hai.. mere taste par Scorpio N best hai under ₹50L. Aapke taste par bhi rahi same vehicle to zarur lena. 😇✌️

No difference if you buy Petrol. Z4 Diesel is underpowered (detuned like Scorpio Classic, and has hydraulic steering).

took test drive of both Scorpio Diesel AT & XUV petrol AT this week, i feel ScorpioN build is way better than XUV700, such thick n heavy doors. Amazing drive feel as well in Scorpio Diesel AT. Xuv drive feel didn not lik not sure if its bcos of Petrol.

XUV700 is a nice car too, but surely it’s not for everyone. I also love my Scorpio N way more than any XUV700. A driver/car owner’s drive character is a very important factor for choosing one of these two… cabin features are secondary.

1 year by default. Shuru mein approx 5k and baad mein, Renewal ke ₹8-10k bhi lag sakta hai, aur shayad zyada bhi. Not sure.

XUV 700 beats Scorpio N in Performance, Comfort and handling. If you love performance, handling , comfort then XUV 700 wins hands down. Scorpio N is better of bad roads .
