XV920R Virago Cafe Racer - EP4 - R6 Front End, Cognito Risers & Renthal Bars

My 1981 Yamaha XV920R Virago comes with long forks meant for cruising. The R6 front suspensions swap is a very common upgrade to the Virago thanks to the Cognitio Moto stem they offer. I also added on the Cognitio Moto Bar Risers with the Motoscope Mini pocket. Renthal Bars have been added along with CBR F4i controls. Hopefully, you enjoy this content. If u pay money for a stem that fits, why do you need so many spacers? Would stock r6 or virago stem not work?

I’m not sure why the spacers. Maybe it depends on the specific model of R6 you have? You cannot use the R6 stem because the length is wrong and the virago stem won’t fit into the R6 triple trees. You do need a custom stem when doing a conversion like this. Or take the R6 stem and cut it down. But I prefer the off the shelf solution if there is one.
