Moonbyul has a good balance of energetic songs(Iljido, Selfish, Moon Movie, Love & Hate) and chill(Absence, Snow, In My Room) songs. I listen to Eclipse pretty much every day but I am on my feet at work so I can make use of the energy I get from the song. Tbh Moon Movie is 1000% more hype and that's the Moonbyul song that's really the most dangerous. 😂

Yes, Moonbyul and Hwasa used their name as a part of the lyric: Moonbyul's Eclipse: Moonstar --> Monster Hwasa's Maria: Hwasa, baptism name Maria --> Mariya (in Korean means "This is the words for you" or in that variant, I kinda forget the exact translation) Sadly Moonbyul's Eclipse isn't welcome by the SK public. I hope it didn't dismiss her passion to create a song like this (meaning that she still like using "typical boygroup beats" for her song)

I like to say eclipse is iconic but Absence is a masterpiece. Absence is MUCH more on the chill side and suits her perfectly. Also Eclipse is a song for the fans. There are two Byulie in this MV, The black one (monster shes using a word play) then we have the white one she's the good one. Brown suit Byulie is the neutral one. Basically this song is about MoonByul protecting moos and shielding us from the dark. Even her fan meeting we're actually like TED talks for depressed and sad moo's.

Been so long since your last mamamoo content. Moonbyul's solo are not so welcomed by the general public sadly they think it was a tryhard. But im so happy it didn't make her stop to accomplish her dream to make a song she want, with the concept she desired cause she believe that music has no gender, moonbyul deserves the world

Her album sold the most units and she's in the top 10 all time highest first day sales. The one controversy I saw was that she used her actual name in the album name and referenced herself in Eclipse and it was perpetrated by sasaengs who hate everything that Mamamoo does. Please don't take what the haters say and think that's how everyone feels. All the members of Mamamoo are well loved and respected by the GP in South Korea.
