Exo are known as the vocal Kings of Kpop by voice experts and hold the record for fastest sold out concert at 0.02 seconds. They also have a very intricate concept that transfers to all of their Mv’s where they have superpowers and come from another planet being chased by the red force the enemy. But also they teach us to love again and not let greed eat us up. They even tell fans not to buy their albums that they should use it for other stuff like eating or getting warm clothes. Thanks for reacting to EXO they are my ultimate group. They tend to do more RnB style of music. This isn’t my favorite song by them because it doesn’t show what they can really do vocally. Their song Tempo is very popular. I recommend their live performances such as Wolf Remix in Seoul or Tokyo. Their b-sides are where they really experiment with their music such as Jekyll, Going Crazy, Diamond, Forever, Gravity. You might like YaYaYa they sampled SWV’s song You’re the One.

Finally! Exo has some of the best vocalists in the industry ^^ I recommend you to watch one of their lives performances 🧐 Also, their songs Power, Kokobop and Lotto please 🥺 Exo debuted in 2012 with 12 members divided into 2 sub units of 6, one unit promoted in China (EXO-M) and the other promoted in Korea (EXO-K)... Out of the 4 Chinese members, 3 fulfilled a lawsuit to leave the group and company, 2 of them won, one lost but still left Exo leaving the group with 9 members 🤗 Lay, the last Chinese member hasn't promoted with them since 2017 because of conflicts between China and Korea ☹️ But he still does solo promotion (react to his songs Honey and Lit please 🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️) Exo continued doing promotions has 8 but Lay never left so he is still part of the group, however since last year 3 members went to the army so right now they only do solo promotions or units promotions 🤗 Chen, one of the remaining member became a dad recently too! 🥺🥳 Please check his solo songs too ^^ Please react to Dreamcatcher Boca and NCT U The 7th sens please 🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️

As with most of EXO's songs and MVs, the song and the story in the MV are two separate things. There are two messages that the story tells in the MV. Yes, the story in the MV is loosely based on the lyrics of the song, but the main point of the MV is mostly to tell another part of EXO's story and to help explain what they are doing here on Earth as part of their mission. Part of EXO's mission is they are constantly fighting against and battling the Red Force for control. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda and corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. While on their quest to locate and protect the Tree of Life, EXO is also tasked with trying to fix everything the Red Force has caused. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc. There are 8 members in "Love Shot." EXO's Chinese member Lay was not able to participate in this MV. In "Love Shot" I'm not sure why they first ended up at the gas/service station or the cinema/movie theater, but the story in this MV is all about how the Red Force is trying to corrupt and control them. For example, supposedly, most fans agree, that Xiumin may have been captured by the Red Force. If you notice, Xiumin is squaring off with a group of guys with guns, but a few seconds later we see someone with a mask and when the mask is removed you see that it's Xiumin, which seems to show that he may not be who we think he is. And when Chen is sitting in the theater watching the film, you see what fans agree is probably Suho, as the leader, trying to protect the members and prevent Chen from watching the film which is thought to probably be the Red Force trying to control EXO with whatever is playing on the screen, etc. You also see references to the movie screen with Chen being projected on the screen in their MV for "Lucky One" and the scene where Suho is running through the forest in their MV for "For Life," etc. These instances seem to be showing times when the Red Force are using the videos to brainwash EXO and to keep them incapacitated so they don't try to fight back or escape, etc. In "Love Shot" one theory is that the members are fighting to discover who has been corrupted by the Red Force and who may not be who they say they are, etc., which I see as a sort of continuation of the story in "Tempo." which is why you see them being very suspicious pointing their guns -- which are filled with alcohol -- at each other. (Get it? the song is called "Love Shot" so it has a double meaning: Love Shot like a gun and Love Shot like a shot of alcohol. :D) The flowers have two purposes, one is they represent Love and EXO is collecting love, but also the flowers are a big part of EXO's storyline. There has been a flower theme that continues throughout all of EXO's MVs. The flowers are thought to be something that EXO is collecting and trying to get rid of to prevent the Red Force from being able to control people, etc. They often collect the flowers and then burn them, like you see in "Love Shot" and in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama." Blue roses also have some sort of significance, but I am not sure what yet -- we see EXO with a blue rose in their concert performances of "Lightsaber" and we see Sehun with a blue rose in "Love Shot." Some of what happens in this story is explained by past MVs and other parts will hopefully, be explained as the story continues in future MVs. Baekhyun is actually one of the main characters in EXO's storyline so he is often set apart or singled out in EXO's MVs. He is often the one that stands alone or is highlighted in the story. In their "Power" MV Baekhyun has been singled out and is sort of separated from the other members. Which seems to suggest maybe Baekhyun is the only member that hasn't been corrupted by the Red Force. So that is why in "Tempo" and in "Love Shot" we see Baekhyun standing on top of the building looking down on the rest of the members, almost as if he is observing them from another dimension or from another time period. Baekhyun is often the one who is going behind the sense to help EXO. For example, we see him disguised as a member of the police as he rescues the other members from the back of the police van in "Monster," and we see Baekhyun facing off with and confronting Xiumin in "Love Shot." :D And now that we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO, EXO's evil clones, as part of "Obsession's" story, I am also starting to think that maybe in "Love Shot" we aren't just seeing EXO. I think maybe when we see the members dressed in the bright colors -- for example, when they are in their suites -- this might be X-EXO and when we see the scenes were they are in black, this could be EXO. Because, if you remember, in "Obsession" we find out that the members in all black are EXO the good guys, and when we see them in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup that is their X-EXO alter ego clones. This could also explain why Kai is dressed in a red suit. Although I am sure their stylists put him in red because he looks really good in it, I think SM chose it because it's another hidden message within the storyline. Usually, whenever we see red in EXO's MVs this has something to do with the Red Force, so for a long time I have been wondering why then would they put Kai in a red suit? However, now that we know about the X-EXO members, I am starting to think that when we see the members in their colorful suits and clothing in "Love Shot" this is actually the X-EXO members, so when we see Kai in red this is his alter ego clone, as well as the other members when we see them in suits, etc. I also think maybe the members who are collecting all the flowers in "Love Shot" are really X-EXO, as part of some evil plot, etc. If you look at the members expressions and the outfits they are wearing in the scenes where you see them collecting the flowers, this reminds me a lot of what they looked like in their MV for "Ko Ko Bop." Since "Obsession," theories now think that what the "Ko Ko Bop" MV was showing us was X-EXO right after they were created as they are becoming acclimated to the world and learning how to use their powers, etc. Which would explain why everything in the "Ko Ko Bop" MV is so brightly colored as well. But you should also know that no one really knows for sure what is happening in any of EXO's MVs. There are well known theories and storylines that are accepted within the fandom which we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within their larger storyline, but nothing is set in stone. As we have discovered with EXO's latest installment of their story with "Obsession," fan theories are constantly evolving and changing with every new piece of the puzzle and now it has completely changed what we thought we understood about almost everything in their previous MVs.

What's really gonna blow your mind afterward is that even though your thoughts about what the music video is about is very good and deep.....it's actually a part of a very in depth, and mysterious storyline which is EXO's concept. You may want to watch a concept video to get the basic's of what we as the fans have figured out thus far. To give you a very short idea, EXO members are actually legendary aliens from EXO Planet. They were originally 12 members strong and are now 9 members strong and steady. Each member has a superpower, which they use to help us here on Earth and to fight against their enemy, the RED Force. The tree of life on their planet was coveted by the Red Force and so they split it in half and came to Earth to hide it. There have been many fights, wins and losses and everything is depicted in the MV's and teasers of EXO, their subunits, solo albums and VCR's. You will see nods to their concept even in SuperM which both Baekhyun and Kai are members. Even their performances on stage and their choreo depict their powers. It is a long running storyline and every new MV and album, we the fans get new information. Please be advised, the storyline is not in MV Order. It is mixed up. We only just learned as of Obsession that their are two exos. EXO and X-EXO....the clones that Red Force created to fight aginast the good. Please make sure to watch their pre-debut and debut songs to see some of the storyline. History, What is Love? and Mama.

Yes EXO! Now before you dive in too far, I recommend starting at their pre-debut track, What Is Love (EXO-K, featuring vocal powerhouses Baekhyun and D.O. The Chinese version is also quite good.) What Is Love was co-produced and written by Teddy Riley, and proof that EXO dialed into the 90s and broke the knob (in a good way!) Every member has solo tracks, and they are all amazingly talented. I really adore (and this makes you different from other KZbinr who do kpop reactions) is the fact that you manage to see beyond just the vocal, or the meaning of the lyrics or the quality of the video, but you do everything together, also that you manage to connect that behind the song there is always a story, and this characterizes kpop a lot.
