For anyone wondering about the gingerbread thing, apparently in Russia, giving someone gingerbread is a passive-aggressive way of telling that person to get out.

19:42 XD Proposal In Russia giving a person gingerbread is a way of proposal. 20:50 You actually could eat potatoes raw. At least I think so, my dad likes to eat it raw when we have to cut them for cooking.

America i can’t believe you fell for the food trick!!!...plus buddy who couldn’t tell that mischievous tone in russia’s voice and that sly grin. O RUSSIA!!!! A plus…. A plus that was hilarious maybe if you do that trick again a hamburger could entice him...America couldn’t deny his stomach than you’ll shove a mix of England’s cooking and some Beats….to add an extra kick maybe some whale blubber. I’ll understand if it’s a bad idea but if you say it wouldn’t work...i guess I’ll get a test subject and I believe he’s wearing a scarf.

I don't know this 100% but I'll try. The gingerbread joke, as Russia called it a Slavic joke, might be because the Polish word for gingerbread, 'piernik' can also be used as a kind of insult / joking way of saying idiot. I could be wrong though cause I don't know Russian XD

Боже, когда Россия вытащил мем с рыбами я так смеялась с этого. А эти божественные попытки его объяснить, мммм, bellissimo. На самом деле Америка был частично близок к разгадке смысла мема. ---- translation ---- God, when Russia pulled the meme with the fish, I laughed so hard at it. And these divine attempts to explain it, mmm, bellissimo. In fact, America was partly close to unraveling the meaning of the meme..
