Don Trip is probably one of the most underrated artist out. His music is too real. Alot of these kids to young adults wont understand. Half these artists this guy mentioned are horribly wack, i guess they are popular or whatever but they not getting no play in my ride. Some people he mentioned had "1 hit wonder" type careers but he still looked at them as not falling off. Talent vs popularity is a very arguable topic. That list that he said was the best year, was definitely not. People really be out here supporting the worst rappers/artists.... Wtf ever happened to Donnis? I have old songs of his that was dope.

when you think about it, even rappers that don't have the lighting they once did who when sharing their numbers. Shows they're making roughly 10-20k a month. That's still 120k - 240k a year assuming it's after taxes. That's not that bad, like you can't live in LA without having to downsize assuming they live in a big ass mansion but 120k a year that's still a decent place in Texas or Florida. 240k a year maybe something okay in Cali but probably able to live like royalty in Nevada or Florida with that dough. Hopefully those that got ripped off by the labels are doing comfortable now. Plenty of artists who never really went mainstream again but had and still has a loyal fan base which they can live comfortably off of, and there isn't anything wrong with that.
