Yeah man, finally a serious heavy duty go-cart for us fluffy folks! I'm 6 foot & 370 lbs of pure smoked bacon & ham gravy. My boys are 6.0 ft. to 6 ft. 4 (but a lot skinnier). Will the tall one fit as well? Nice design! Love it!

That’s pretty sweet! It has an excellent hole shot but kinda dies off through the mid and high end. I think you’re on the right track with clocking the secondary clutch. That should help considerably. I know you love using those go-cart style engines but I think it would be really cool if you tried using a snowmobile engine and clutch set-up.

If you flip the rear pulley like it should be it will work 100 percent better! GPS made a compromise of flipping the rear pulley and letting it eat belts to make it easy to make a backplate for a " tork converter " en Comet made them the 40 series had a backplate made of steal plates and tubes welded to gather it worked great but was bulky and heavy. If you watch the belt on a GPS 40 you will see that it gets bent out of alignment as it shifts.

Glad you mentioned fixing steering my sons yard cart got just like that when i turned it up and I ended up flipped in a ditch with a compound open fracture to left lower leg. Happened so fast to. Would hate to see anyone of you guys to go through that to.

Rpm,drive gear,driven gear and tire size will give you the max speed and help you actually design a cart instead of guessing gear sizing

You should try to get like a 400cc Suzuki King quad engine or something similar with a CVT or manual clutchless would make a hell of a cart

Greetings from Texas! Finally! A kart for us 'healthy' guys. I would continue to push for 'fun' mode and not go to absolute top speed. Drifting around a track and having insane acceleration with a full bodied rider is a much better combination than being just 'ok' off the line and a dangerous top speed. Keep up the good work and let us know when you start producing the kit. Be good, hope to see you at the mini bike race down in Texas with GPS.

Definitely interested in one of them gravy bones kits! Also wondering if you ever thought about making a side car? One of my kids became severely disabled almost 2 years ago. I'm trying to figure out a sidecar I can attach to her old minibike. I built a two seater gokart and put harnesses in it for her. I just think it would be awesome to have a side car for her fox spoiler. Keep up the good work!

Who needs nitrous.. This thing is powerhouse already..i've been into cheap 2stroke bicycle kits from China.. It would be fun to watch you convert a 4stroke engine onto a cruiser bicycle with front shocks on the forks and huge springer seat on the hard tail frame

It’s not that the steering gets the speed wobbles it’s just the ratio that you have on the steering. The slighted input from the steering wheels moves the tire a lot.
