Doesnt axl's giga attack deal alittle too much damage? Its ok if it deals that much damage if there is like a condition that needs to be met like axl being on his final quarter of health and can only be used once per boss fight. But no condition and twice per boss fight is too much

Interesting. Given that MMX8's ending ended in a cliffhanger with no sequel to resolve that in sight, they intentionally left out Lumine's fate on Axl. His sprites need some further work on refinement. But should ever a MMX9 be actually happening, they'll have to update his ending to reflect on that.

personally, I think Axl's posture from X7 seems a bit more fitting for the SNES sprite work... his more professional posture in X8 seems to suit an X4-6 era sprite... gameplay could use a bit more time in the oven to flow more seamlessly, too. his gameplay seems like it was built to cheese level design built for X. I mean, where you used just the buster for Red and Serenade with X, you were forced to use the Blast Launcher from out of their range...

@@MegaYoYo I think what makes it stick out so much is the fact that Axl can hover on his own, alongside firing his weapons directly downward... The revised Icarus Armor demonstrates that the level design can challenge Zero just fine without him breaking much, if anything, it'd be a bit tougher considering he'd be more close ranged. if X had the Fourth Armor or PS1 era Ultimate Armor, I'd wager you'd get a similar result in terms of dodging attacks.

Sigma Blade indeed strong but remember that Zero's power got buff thanks to his Black Zero form (that damn form allow Zero do deal insane damage with any weapon)

@@vxcodm4121 but he also becomes a glass Canon by receiving double damage as well.. Without Heart tanks almost all types of attacks can one or two-shot him xD But his damage is indeed mindblowing in Black Zero Form.. 2nd quickest boss killer in the original 2nd to Ultimate Armor's Nova Strike.

All he really needs in this X8 demake is the Sigma Blade [main use is breaking enemy guards in a single hit], along with the classic buster-saber combo from X3 [which allows him to emit a shockwave from the final slash]; in addition to the actual 3~5-hit saber combo & all the weapons/techniques already present in X8. Heck, I'd be happy if this game gives Zero both his "Earth Geyser" and "Genmurei" as giga-attacks.
