Without him there is no show. The reason I ever started watching TVD was because of this line "I am a vampire. This is MY story." Stefan Salvatore is the heart of TVD. He is the hero, sometimes tragic full of a pure love that guides him always. The torture he will be subjected to both emotional and physical breaks my heart. He deserves more and I believe it's only when he's truly broken that he will become the EPIC hero he's meant to be. I love him soooo much. That's why I WILL watch TVD in S5 - I believe in Stefan.

He got such a shitty hand dealt to him in the season finale, it's so unfair. The ending with "I'm Stefan. And this is my story." made me want to cry, it was that emotional.

What I don't understand is how people can look at this character, look at how much he has suffered and done for the people that he has loved and who he didn't even care about, how he tried to protect them, and how he fought compulsion, found against Klaus, etc etc and people still love Damon more? I don't get it. I don't think I will ever get it. I hope Stefan gets his happy ending. He deserves it.

U've got a point,& that's because of a scene in episode 4x22.When Elena got her humanity back &Jer came back from th dead,there was a scene where Stef,Elena,Damon,Jeremy &Bonnie were present & th time Stef was about 2 go make sure Kol's body was somewhere safe,Elena said:"Stefan!" &looked at him in a way that revealed how much he loved him.It was like she was telling him "It's u. U are th one I love!". & then, when he left,Damon looked kinda sad &disappointed &Elena was like she felt sorry 4 him

i feel 4 both of them, damon because he tries so hard 2 b good and change his ways, but yet he can never escape his demons nor forgive himself 4 it, he's always been told he was the bad brother,everyone called him a monster,(no humanity) so when he tries 2 b good he still feels like everything he does is never good enough or self loathing he wants redemption, stefan is the compassionate one, and he still has his demon2, because he was the ripper killing all those ppl, and being trapped in tht box, , they r both fighting their own demons, but in different ways,but the reasoon why i fel 4 stefan a bit more because hehas a pure heart,and puts everyone ahead of himself just like bonnie, and i feel like they always get screwed over....stefan deserves 2 b happy.
