Jocelyn Flores was a model that he flew down to LA (could've been somewhere else not sure) for a video/photo shoot. He then found her hanging in the closet in his hotel room. Previously she displayed no signs of depression or suicidal tendencies. X sent his condolences to her family and told them that they can reach out to him at anytime. "With no pot to piss in" and "haste decisions" refers to the criminal charges he received for allegedly physically abusing his ex and other bad decisions he's made. The story with his ex is that it escalated to the point where he heated an iron stick and threatened to insert it into her private area causing her to pass out. He never actually touched her with it though. "Uncle playing with a slip knot" refers to one of X's uncles actually committing suicide when he was younger. X is no foreigner when it comes people he knows or loved ones taking their own lives. When the Jocelyn incident happened it brought back memories from the past. "Couple months they had a n**ga locked up" refers to how he went to jail for a gun related charge and obviously the abuse which I mentioned earlier. All this info I sourced from videos of X talking about the song and it's meaning. There are also articles that report on why he went to jail and the physical abuse case. It's great to see X atoning for his past actions and trying to make the world a better place. You can really see it through his new music. CORRECT MY FACTS IF IM WRONG. I love this video! I just wanted to let you guys know that the part at 1:07 to 1:12 is not actually X singing, he layers his vocals on top of the sample at 1:13. The original sample is sung by an artist named “shiloh”. And this is said about many of the songs sung on the “17” album. I’m also a fellow metalhead, but xxxtentacion is one of my favorite artists for many of the reasons you stated in this video.

Okay let me first say that I love your channel and love what you guys are doing. Let me try to guide you as best I can with our good friend X lol. SoundCloud is where you should begin. His very first released song is Vice City if you want to listen to that. X’s is music is pure emotion. Dabbles in all sorts of genres and the kid is just a genius to me despite so much controversy. His song Look At Me blew up a year later after the release while he was in jail. Most people found him that way and expect songs like that from him. It’s honestly not even my favorite and it sort of upsets me how people don’t look into him more and truly see his other works. Here are songs that are a wide variety of him that I think you guys should react to. Gnarly Bastard Riot King Revenge King of the Dead The remedy of a broken heart Moonlight I dont wanna do this anymore Infinity 888 Hope I spoke to the devil in Miami So so sooooo many more, I don’t want this comment to be too long and possibly get lost because of it 😂 X is genuine, his music and voice is so raw. His choices of distortion on this song or acoustic on this other one, he chooses everything a certain way that might make you think “oh this song isn’t finished” or “oh this song doesn’t sound mixed very well” but it’s all on purpose with the attention to provide a real genuine emotion.
