I am 32 years old. For the longest time I hated the new style of hip hop. I would say I can’t understand them, musics too fast, too short! Over the last two or three years I’ve slowly adapted my taste to enjoy this type of music. Being from Houston I can really appreciate the slowed down pace and it’s made it to where this style of music is what I mostly listen to now. This slowing down of the music adds more passion and emotion to the lyrics and beats. In a way it helps me understand what the artist and producers view in their brain is before laying down the track. Amazing stuff!
