@milly1251_4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they didn't actually play Pumped up Kicks at all in this concert because of the shootings. After the show lots of people were chanting "Pumped Up Kicks, Pumped Up Kicks" which is kinda messed up.

Damn that would have been a wrong decision if they did do that after the speech he made . cannot believe from the comment section that the audience were wanting to listen to Pumped Up Kicks. A bit messed up that is and glad Mark and the rest of the band chose not to play that song.

"They are one hit wonders." A huge hit in "Pumped Up Kicks," another (this one) that charted Top Ten on four Billboard charts and went double-platinum, three further songs that have charted in Top Ten on at least one Billboard chart, with again as many in the Top 20. Plus about a billion views on KZbin and several songs in the Top Ten for the yearly streaming charts. That is a pretty good output for a rock band (a much diminished genre) that has only been putting out songs for six years (2011-2017).

Lyrics Yeah, it's over, it's over I'm circling these vultures Got me prayin', man, this hunger Feelin' somethin' rotten Last time I saw you, said "What's up?" And pushed right through Then I tried to catch you But we're always on the move And now it's over, we're sober Symptoms of the culture And the night ain't gettin' younger Last call's around the corner Feelin' kinda tempted And I'm pourin' out the truth Just fadin' out these talkers 'Cause now all I want is you, I'm saying Come over here and sit next to me We can see where things go naturally Just say the word and I'll part the sea Just come over here and sit next to me, ooh, ooh, ooh And I'll take you high High (ooh, ooh, ooh) Well, I ain't frontin' my intention Got your man outlined in chalk It's a midnight intervention Got no plans to make it stop Last time I saw you Said you wanna keep it light But I'm here to tell you I'm not tryna change your mind It's alright, ooh It's alright, ooh Yeah, come over here and sit next to me We can see where things go naturally Just say the word and I'll part the sea Just come over here and sit next to me, ooh, ooh, ooh And I'll take you high High High High It's alright It's alright Yeah, it's alright Yeah, it's alright So come over here and sit next to me We can see where things go naturally Just say the word and I'll part the sea, mm Just come over here and sit next to me, ooh, ooh, ooh It's alright
