I am definitely going to try out the BRP DW back-bar. Post Tormentor nerf, I've been running a build that is basically the same as this, except with Vateshran tank weps on the back-bar, to alternate the pull-in CDs. And, while that does make for a blazing fast pack-to-pack dungeon build, I have found it to be a bit excessive. Meaning, I rarely find that I actually need access to a pull-in that's off-CD _that_ frequently. Because, if DPS is high enough to merit it, trash agro is kind of a non-issue anyway. Thanks for suggesting BRP DW back-bar. That looks really fun!

I was looking for a build that would work for my WW tank when not in WW form, and this fits perfectly. Ironically, Tormentor/Rush of Agony is the exact setup I use for WW since Tormentor is the only way to taunt as WW. Love all the in depth explanations of how the various skills, passives, etc. work together.

I followed this build just because I love the templar tank. I was using a site that calculates states based on the gear inputs, CP etc. Without minor resolve, I am falling short of the 33k resistances even when substituting bulwark for reaving blows. My character is argonian which contributes but figured with bulwark I could make up the difference. Not sure where I'm going wrong here.

Sure but only single target taunt no aoe taunt and void bash applies cc immunity so keep that in mind

I don't think he's right. Sets don't proc sets. So the pull from Vatershran shouldn't proc Tormentor.

@Lazahro. tormentor isn't a proc it's a conditional based effect, you pull, leap, teleport, or whatever and tormentor will taunt the first enemy hit. However rush of agony is a pull, it's an aoe pull but tormentor will only taunt one of them when they are pulled

Does the Tormentor armor buff stack over and over if you proc it on one target after another? It says they are taunted for 15 sec but doesn't mention a cooldown to the armor buff and since it's not a major or minor armor buff, in theory, it should stack

armour buff is a one time thing from the activation of the set regardless of amount of targets. It's a unique buff and has it's on visual symbol for it.

New player here and currently levelling my first templar. First half of the video is making sense and seems fairly straightforward. Second half is confusing me. How do these weapons or sets of gear work exactly? If i do a dungeon that gives me your helmet at level 16... wont that be useless by the time im 50? Would i use other stuff then do that dungeon at level 50 to get the highest damage variant? Or do you get it early and keep upgrading? Are these endgame weapons? Would i no longer need to chase anything once i have a "maxed out" version of these? (I dont mind this) Ive not seen an eso guide on youtube that doesnt cater to already experienced players

You can change Quick Clock with Solar Barrage but not increase defense

So I don’t see the extra on tormentor or agony ?? Tormentor is now 50% heal on first one hit and I don’t see anything about any healing etc… like the build though. I personally found this accidental taunt 5 years ago. Was using tormentor in dungeons on huge pulls was during quick due to aging everything. No proof however wasn’t active on KZbin back then. Live Templar tanking !! I use magma, leeching, overwhelming atm.

There are indeed (single target) taunts for tanks in ESO. There was change to a gear set that had an AOE taunt.

With scripting we can make AoE taunts, if done right you can apply both breaches and a taunt rather than using pierce armour. I ran through vLC the other day with it for fun. Surprised these trifectas teams aren't doing it
