Falon Years ago my husband and I were both called for jury duty. He was on one jury and I was never selected. The commitment was for a week which was not too bad. We all sat in at large room waiting to be called. We could read or watch moves. Thank you for the shopping trip. Have a good evening.

Yes ma'am I have been called twice for jury duty. It made me a nervous wreck 🤣🤣. I couldn't hardly tell my Dr about it. So he gave me nerve pills and gave me a note to be excused. I was really a nervous wreck 🤣🤣.

I loved going shopping with you all. I almost lost it when I heard Manley say "Mama, Forgive Me". That was so adorable. I was on a Jury about 20 years ago or so but it was a very quick one. Greetings Moss family. I was called to jury duty when my child was under 16 and I was a stay at home mom and his primary caregiver, I was exempt until he turned 16. I would research if the rules are the same in your state. Then I was called every 6 years after that. It was very interesting experience. Not ‘fun’, but kinda cool to see how the system works. I feel honored and my duty to serve. The judge, lawyers, were all very respectful and it was a positive experience.

I’ve been called for jury duty several times. When my children were little , I was able to be excused from showing up because I was a stay at home mom and didn’t have anyone that could watch them. Yup, had to do Jury Duty a few times over the years. Mostly it was just sitting around in a big waiting room bc they didn't have enough cases that day. Ended up sitting there for most of the day doing search a words 😂.

I felt the like you when I got my first summons but once I got there, I found out everybody else felt the same way! But I'm in the big city, not a small town. Now that I've been through being picked 2 times (first criminal courts, then civil) I am so glad for the experience. Lots of nice people. Especially the judges! Maybe not the lawyers. ha ha The criminal case didn't come to a full trial because the accused saw us jurors gathered in the hallway & chose to take a plea. (This is what the judge told us before thanking us Big Time for showing up!) Then the civil trial spanned several days but was really interesting & we all got along. You'll do great! -Nikki

I was on our county Grand jury. We had to go about 4 times during the year and about a week at a time. But lots of days we were only there for a few hours. Found it interesting, to say the least.

But I just thought to myself that I was an adult and I had to act like a an adult! So I did it! If you show you are confident people will treat you with respect. Good luck.

Fallon I’m 57 and have never got called to jury duty until last month ugh I couldn’t believe it but it did get canceled praise the Lord ! I was hoping to get out of it because I own my own business and am sole proprietor and everyday I don’t go to work I loose money! I think you could get out of it because you have small children at home I would look into that for your state!

OK...I will try and be brief here...I don't think you know this, but I have been in a wheel chair for almost a year now. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is difficult in my life. So the other night I got in the fridge, thought I would take the seal off of the new creamer...I got it half way off...and I dropped it!!!!!!!!! My hands don't work, also. It went EVERYWHERE...I only said 2 cuss words...which is unusual for me! HA Anyway, I had just done laundry, bath towels to be exact so I started throwing them on the floor. My God what a mess! In the container there was about one fourth of a cup...so I did get to try it the next morning. I liked it...I usually use Hazelnut so this morning I mixed the two...that was really good. I think you would like it, also. Hope you can try it soon.

Jury duty, although inconvenient, is really not bad. The process is really interesting. I have been called three times but have never gotten to serve due to my husband being in law enforcement. I promised I could be impartial but the defense never believes me. 🙂

I had to do jury duty it was for the grand jury. 12 of us in a room..they would bring the case before us and we would vote whether there was enough evidence to send it to trialing not ...once a month I think ..I really enjoyed it

Use pineapple juice and orange juice with sprite or ginger ale. I make this punch every holiday. I also add a packet of orange koolaid but it just adds color and orange flavor but you don't have to use it. Next time add pineapple juice too its soo good.

Don’t worry at ALL about jury duty! I’ve been called several times, released each time without having to serve, and I work for the county court system. Just bring a drink, snack, something to read and an earbud so you can use your phone. It’s a lot of waiting but otherwise, very simple. Aunt Bea was the exception…and didn’t she do a great job? 😀

I was selected for jury duty at 20! I requested an extension since I was a college student, just before the date came for the reschedule I received a letter saying I was not selected and they thanked me for my service! Off the list for 4 years (currently 23) so my time is almost up…could have to go the next time!

I worked for lawyers for 40 years so when i received a jury notice, they just made a phone call and i was excused lol. Probably was because I was their only employee and they really needed me at work and they knew the judge. I didn't ask them to do that but they always did.

I've been on so many jury duties, I can't even remember the number. It was a joke at my work because I got called to serve approximately every 3 years. I joke that I'm a professional juror, lol. Don't be nervous Falon, it's really not bad. The worst part is just the sad situations you have to hear about. I live in a small town in NW GA, and I hate to say that most cases are drug related. The great thing is that you may never even have to sit on a jury and decide a case. Again, there's no need to worry! We need wonderful people like you on a jury!! 😊

Yes, sat for a day. There was a case where a woman was claiming the grocery store was at fault because they had a hole in the floor that she tripped and hurt her self. But you see they had the area taped off, , anyway we figured it was 50/50 she was careless. They had a hole. Was good I suppose I don’t like to judge others which was what upset me.but with prayer.. I felt at ease. Remember to pray on it, and if it’s his will, it will be done. God bless ❤🌻🙏

Not only was I on jury duty once in my life, they made me the foreperson. It is always exciting to do something that important. I know a lot of people who would try to get out of it but i consider it a civic duty. Take something to read or an iPad because it can be very boring just waiting around. My love to all! ❤😊❤😊❤

Yes, I was on one jury...it was attempted murder trial, it was very interesting---my most embarrassing, moment there was they would have frequent recesses and the on the jury would go out, check our phones, get a drink ...turn our phones off and get back to the trial...this time I didn't get mine off and as the lawyer was making his final plea my phone rang! I was so mortified, I couldn't get it to turn off fast enough so they excused me for a minute, I must have had a red face for sure, I can't even remember if the man was sentenced..LOL
