I agreed completely with MC Yan. He truly went Overseas and studying Fine Arts school in France, while learning French from scratch, living a total of 7 years there. His avant-garde thinking with arts, music and his philosophical way of life is very forward thinking with his global peers in his field. In fact, anyone who fully appreciate and understand with the creativity of visual arts in the form of modern form, graffiti and performing music, would see his point of view. As compared to the measure of a person in the materialistic value of money, production and performance parameters by the scale of modern commerce, finance and operational management. All being the widely acceptable but very artificial forms of assumption of success in any particular person. Here lies with this problem which most of the idiotic lemmings had never thought of. Regardless of how much money, the status of your high-ranking employment positions, the social position of the sand pyramid in the society you tried to achieve by climbing or backstabbing over others with the corporate and social games being created. There would be a good chance that it may all vanished into the thin air. So how on earth you can have other forms of self-worth and respect if all of those vanities are being taken away? The point of MC Yan with his interpretations of arts and music are priceless and eternal. It is very simple and subjective. You either like it or don't like it. But either way, there must be a reason of why behind your opinion to either validate or discredit your own views. A piece of graffiti art might be mostly misunderstood by others, but for great works like MC Yan, who is world renown and recognized around the world, is innovative, original and creative in many ways that others who neither appreciated nor expected in their intricate ways. For example with his Hong Kong in Traditional Chinese graffiti being vertically from a horizontal piece, while putting various glow in the dark feature and other finer touches where most would never known about. Where the repetitions of work are temporary, with lab-rats or zombies like behaviour running through endless treadmill of boring and thankless daily lives. Artists such as MC Yan had fulfilling purpose where the creation of his arts are different and eternal. The intrinsic values and the endless discussions of possibilities in his masterful work and projects, are far more meaningful than the laughable Honger Pigs with their survival instincts in the rat race to be ahead, in order to get married, buy a car and afford a down-payment for a tiny flat while saving astronomical sums. This was the regression where MC Yan lamented about when compared Hong Kong with the rest of the World in their progressive thoughts. No wonder we saw the huge regression in all creativity in creative literature, language, visual and performing arts in Hong Kong. To the point where originalities and freedom of ideas plus expressions were literally all vanished after 1980s. Particularly with the post 1997 Handover by the CCP. Seriously, if even Hong Kongers themselves will not appreciate and respect their own creative brand of culture in the city. What really is there left? If at all? Also to those who criticized MC Yan, would they be able to argue with him in perfect Parisienne accented French? Who are the true morons who are illiterate and have no sense of cultural values? Most of those Honger Pigs, aren't all you ashamed yet?

If you can’t not maintain a balance with consistency in life , there will be no peace and progress for the mind. “Questioning is a foundation of ability to learn , practice is the process of what you learn to reality and master is the result of constant practice” So we must practice

@@beyondreamtime420 Yes, EXACTLY! This is the essential point of education according to the Latin word "To Apply", and why the famous ancient Greek Philosophers encouraged to keep questioning what you learn. Well Said.

@@canicetang8837 we in living in a society of division, very hard for people to understand our point. Our education is a failure, and it’s designed for it purposes. For my point of view on HongKong people is that I feel sorry for them. Living a lifestyle like that will drive a human crazy , and weeds is so hard to access. Life have become so careless of day in day out work, I call is “ repeating repeatedly bad habit” it killing them inside out slowly.

@@beyondreamtime420 Yes, the term Honger Pigs and even referred some of them as "Stephens" - Cantonese for "Eat, Fornicate, and Sleep" as their missions in life. No different than livestock feeding themselves for the slaughter house. Albeit they will have the financial means to buy the fancy do-dads to prove their existence and flattering themselves in front of their peers living in the same fantasy facade away from reality.

It's oddly strange that Ah Yan came back from France in 1998 and I went to HKBU for abroad studies. He wasn't famous by that time and just a regular college grad. Graffiti and skateboarding was still in its infancy when I arrived in HK so I met up with local graffiti writers and other artist.
