nine funeral lions...the highest honor given only to a true master of a generation at his funeral. lau was my dad's "si-sook" back in the 70s and 80s hong kong, thus being my "si-bak." RIP lau kar leung

HUEnshiro do Norte the funeral lions are a symbol of reverance and honour in the old school chinese martial arts community. its a southern guangdong tradition. to have nine at your funeral is an honour of the highest degree (9 being the number for completion/longevity in chinese culture)
