Collapse of textile industry led to unemployment of mill worker .Unemployed mill worker and his family were stuck in fierce poverty. Youngsters of mill worker family fueled D-company with sharp shooters who were ready to take down anyone for few k's. Political leaders glorified dons on basis of religion. Only few like D Shivanand and G R Khairnar stood up against this but lacked political support.
