Y Gribin & Glyder Fach

A cracking walk with fantastic views all day. It is only about 5 miles but involves some grade 1 scrambling. Icy rock at the top of the Gribin ridge made it a bit tricky so keep that in mind if you do this route in icy or wet conditions. Thanks to nick for the company, it was a great day (despite toothache).

Great video again Spencer. Tried Y Gribin with the wife who unfortunately got cragfast near the top of the ridge. I really need to get back up there and tick that one off.

Great video Spencer. I was up in the Glyderau yesterday. Went up Y Garn, then over to Glyder Fawr then to Glyder Fach then down the way you went. Great walk and the weather was great pretty much all morning

Hi spencer,I do most of my hiking solo,iv got up to the football pitch on y gribin a few times but always got stuck at the top scramble section and turned back ,thanks for showing and explaining the best way to tackle it👍great video as always

Thanks Paul. It is not obvious when you get to the top which way to go. We had to dodge a couple of places which were too slippery, but the best way is to get up on the ridge as soon as you can. I 👍

Another excellent walk and video Spencer what a great place the ogwen Valley is we walked upto and around Lynn Idwal on Friday gone on our way home from Anglesey got some photos up on Instagram of our walk there I must get up ther this year and tackle some of those mountains, Thanks for taking us along with you Enjoyed as always, ATB,Les.

Thanks Les, it was nice to get some views this time. The walk around Llyn Idwal is a great walk in itself, I always enjoy seeing families walking it together as it’s so accessible. A great experience for the kids, some of whom will be future walkers. 👍

Hi Spencer that was a a spectacular hike loved the hands knees feet and eyelashes lol that's been me on more than one occasion. It Castle in the wind was lovely to see it's been a while since I did any climbing as the last time I was in Wales I had an injury to my foot so stayed at base camp with my dog.I look forward to returning to the Welsh mountains you take good care ATB Ana
