“遇见古蜀”三星堆沉浸式光影艺术展 Meet Ancient Shu: Sanxingdui Immersive Art Exhibition in Beijing

“遇见古蜀-三星堆沉浸式光影艺术展”以沉浸体验和互动体验为特色，分为“古蜀觅踪”“敬事神明”“神国万象”和“梦回古蜀”（光影大秀）四大单元，呈现形式分为静态展陈和光影大秀两部分。Sanxingdui (Chinese: 三星堆; pinyin: Sānxīngduī; lit. 'Three Star Mound') is an archaeological site and a major Bronze Age culture in modern Guanghan, Sichuan, China. The curation team of Meet You Museum stated that the concept behind "Meet Ancient Shu: Sanxingdui Immersive Art Exhibition" is rooted in ancient Shu culture. Through a second creative interpretation in the form of digital art, the exhibition explores the fusion of culture, artifacts, and technology. It is an endeavor to bring cultural relics to life and to use modern technological means to promote and preserve traditional Chinese culture.
Largely discovered in 1986, following a preliminary finding in 1927, archaeologists excavated artifacts that radiocarbon dating placed in the twelfth-eleventh centuries BC. The archaeological site is the type site for the Sanxingdui culture that produced these artifacts, archeologists have identified the locale with the ancient kingdom of Shu. Sanxingdui is on the UNESCO list of tentative World Heritage Sites, along with the Jinsha site and the tombs of boat-shaped coffins.
